PS3 4.83 CFW / Homebrew Apps / Plugins / Tools updated for 4.83

hello bguerville thanks for the attention now I answer in a simple way your two answers:
1) yes my PlayStation 3 slim was with the jailbreak now it is no longer used irisam
2) now unfortunately my ps3 is at the fw 4.83 yesterday updated by mistake​

You just repeat the process and install the firmware and use homebrew
Nothing to worry!

I didnt know, I mean it makes sense but I didnt find any threads when people would use it on CFW. So I assumed that maybe theirs something blocking it from being used, like its designed just for HAN. It probably is but nothing blocks a CFW from using it.

Soo, you have uploaded someone elses work under your name? When there is already threads linking the original files? No need to do that.

Also, I was talking about the proxy server that I did not know that you could use it on CFW and you are linking to the Proxy Server?

Just remove that resource as it isn't yours

No,I clearly said that PS3 Proxy server by @CF3B5.If this is not enough for you i can edit the resource.I just wrote the guide.

You need to downgrade if on 4.83 or 4.84. And use ps3xploit if on 4.82. If non CFW compatible use HAN on 4.82.

The latest version of PS3 Dump Checker has a 4.83 Ferrox based NoFSM patch meaning you can install CFW on 4.83 directly after flashing the patched dump to your PS3 with a hardware flasher without downgrading to 3.55.

If you have a CFW compatible PS3 then using a Hardware flasher is the only way to do it, and using a NoFSM patch so you don't have to downgrade to 3.55 install CFW.

I believe this was his fourth one in this thread. He's not asking all the time just every few months so it's easy to miss.

If you're PS3 is still jailbroken on 4.82 CFW then I would say take a look at this page for the most up to date apps, CFW's :

Then its a simple matter of choosing your preference for want you want to use...

My recommendation for a CFW update would be REBUG 4.84.1 REX> An awesome CFW to use...... Don't get me wrong the other's are good to and its all about what you prefer to use.

Hi, I've previously installed Rebug Rex CFW on a OFW 4.84 and it works great thanks to yourself and many other dev's and everyone else here with all the great and priceless info, tips, tricks and guides. Very much appreciated.

I now have a CFW compatible PS3 Slim OFW 4.82 with a 1TB HD and I'm looking to do the following :

1. Update to OFW 4.85(To allow full access to PSN online and check console not banned)
2. Install latest Cobra Rebug CFW and then install RR Linux(To have better browser / VLC if possible and other features etc)
3. Install a Dualboot FW that allows spoofing the OFW as close as possible for disc games and with any other useful features too.

So, my question is... Do you(or anyone else reading this) know if this is possible and how can it be done the best way to allow PSN access / online gaming with the least risk of a ban and to also have RR or another version of Linux installed and working too?

Am I right to assume that a Dualboot FW 4.83 will only work on a max OFW 4.83 updated console?..
-OR- Is it possible to downgrade/upgrade, switch back and forward with the QA flag enabled from a 4.85 HFW + Cobra(Rebug Toolbox) CFW?.. I'm a little bit confused by this.. :P

Anyway, any help with this would be much appreciated and many thanks in advance... ;J
