Bought a Mario Kart 8 Wii u bundle, on 5.5.0

Hey guys bought this last night and from what I have read I should have done more research as everthing is still private for this firmware? [MENTION=3657]pinky[/MENTION] any advice. I'm not worried about it though I buy a game system to play games being able to brew and other stuff is just a bonus. Just curious if you had any insight buddy. Thanks

hackers have been working on an exploit for 5.5.0/1, but nothing has been released. the golden firmware for the wii-u is 5.3.2, but u can also play backups/homebrew with 5.4.0. if u want to play backups/homebrew, I'd advise selling the unit and buying an older bundle. btw, I believe splatoon has the 5.3.2 update, so if u buy a first gen unit like the zombii-u bundle, u can just use that game to update, then sell it. I hope that's helpful.

Just bought a Xenoblade Chronicles X bundle [EU] (latest entry in database) had FW 5.4.0 on it, so loadiine works fine on that.

I bought a use Wii U from a pawn shop down the street from where I stay
and I got lucky when I was looking at the Firmware Versions coming a cross (Version 5.0.0 U)
and On top of that it was Under $100 bucks
But when I got home and Box back up My OG Wii and Unbox the Wii U and got everything ready
The damn Wii U Had parental lock on it
So I called up Nintendo and I told them I just pick up this Wii U from a pawn shop
And I'm lock out of doing anything with it,
So they ask for the Inquiry Number,
And they gave me the master key

And Now The Wii U is still on 5.0.0 U
With a Hack vWii with in it

So from there I Open up the The Master Key Logs
