PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

Blood Omen 2: The Legacy of Kain Series (SLUS-20024)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 01 00 00 00
50 43 2F 00 06 00 02 45 06 00 00 10

Mipmapping fix for the NTSC version. SLES-50815 should work with the SLES-50772 config.

Thanks! I'll try it out!

@ex05 Hey, I've been silently working on Growlanser VI for a couple days whenever I have some free time. I didn't really get too far, though. Career seems to have radically changed the floating point functions responsible for the sprite stuff displayed on screen, so it's been extremely difficult to track down what is actually happening. For now it is unfixable... :(

No worries, I'm very grateful for your time and effort. Maybe one day you'll nail it. Thank you!

Guys can i request a config for Kuon for the PAL version? There is a spanish patch for said region of the game, but the config for the game is only for the ntsc region. Or there is a way i can convert the config to PAL?

It should work with the SLPS-25329 JAP version too.

What is the thing with the Tekken 4? I have unlocked the theatre mode via cheats, started the Jin's epilogue video and there was no crash after all. I am testing the NTSC version.

It only crashes in the Story Battle mode and not Theatre. You'll have to play through Jin's entire story to get to it which takes around 3-5 mins on easy mode.

I made tried some tests a few months back but nothing helped, including all config commands. I found that command 0x21 at 0 (in the gxemu config to improve the FMV slowdown) delays the inevitable PS3 shutdown by some seconds, maybe 5 or 6, but it still happens in the end. I am guessing it could be some TLB issue but I'm unsure where it is happening.

Kuon (SLUS-21007, SLES-53411)

Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0E 00 00 00 24 41 10 00
The previous NTSC-U config should work with the PAL version, but here is an update to it anyways. This is only to fix the sugoroku minigame after collecting both the pieces and the board in each phase of the game.
Thank you very much, but what i do with this info? i mean i never created a config file, i just know you can open them with a hex editor.

Also i saw that there is a change, an E for an F in the NTSC config, but there is a second line.

The configs look a bit different but they are essentially doing the same thing. Both this new config and the old config would work on the PAL version.

To use it, the most "modern" way would be to download the PS2 Config Database package located here: https://store.brewology.com/ahomebrew.php?brewid=310

@aldostools does an amazing job of maintaining and updating the database as soon as new configs are made. The newest Kuon config should be in the package, so all you have to do is install, enable "auto-config" in WebMAN MOD's "Scan for Content" settings, and voila. The config will be automatically loaded and stored on your system for use.

Kuon is now available on https://ps3.aldostools.org/ps2config.html?q=kuon

Using the online updater of webMAN MOD the local database will be updated and include latest Kuon configs.

Guys now that we are talking about new configs, i readed in the wiki that fatal frame (or project zero in Europe) doesn't need a config, i tried the official PS2 Classics and works perfect but it doesn't have subtitles, i tried the PAL version and works but as an example, in the first cutscene with the first ghost the cinematic freezes, then contines but with desync audio, i checked the ps2 classics .pkg and it has a config file with a lot of numbers and letters(opened the config with a hex editor) is there a way to convert that config to PAL?
I created a thread some weeks ago but a user told me it works perfect in french, im looking for the spanish language
It's for Project Zero
