PS3 (UPDATE) IRISMAN 4.84.2 - Now Supports CFW 3.41 - 4.84 on CEX/DEX/ DEH

Update (March -24-2019) to v4.84.2 by Aldostools
Expanding Firmware Support + Includes the updated MAMBA
( here is the link for MAMBA/PRX Loader standalone that has also been updated by Aldostools)

.Following the update to webMAN MOD that provided support for 4.84 (CEX) Custom Firmware developer @aldostools was also directing another update for one of his other popular projects for the PS3, the backup manager known as IRISMAN. Like webMAN MOD is a fork to webMAN (by deank), IRISMAN is a fork of Iris Manager (by Estwald) that builds on a great foundation but offer a lot functionality and support not found in the original project. Like so many backup managers they serve as the All-in-One utilities for the jailbroken console.,The PS3 has no shortage of solutions, but in my mind there is a 3 headed monsters that leads the pack when it comes to a manager's choice. MultiMAN / IRISMAN / ManaGunZ are 3 very useful and feature rich managers and all are quite unique from each others and while there is some similarities in some features they provide, plenty of exclusive features are contained in their arsenals. You really can not go wrong with any of those three choices and no harm in trying all of them to see what suite you best, :)

In IRISMAN you will find a very functional file manager along with FTP support for transferring your files from the PC to the PS3 , MAMBA loader is also incorporated and with this feature it gives your Standard CEX CFW many COBRA CFW like features by injecting the MAMBA payload into your CFW, With this homebrew you can even enjoy other multimedia features like launching Retro Roms for RetroArch along with many other great features that can be found in this popular choice on the PS3 (CFW required),

I remember i read that the Webman fan cooling payload can be replaced with the one from Irisman , which i find better . Anyone has details on how to do it ? I looked over the file contents and i can't see a .bin dedicated to fan speed .

looking and posting your answer in an IRISMAN thread might be the first wrong step in finding that answer regarding webMAN

@aldostools Thank you for your hard work on both webMAN MOD, & IRISMAN. I was just wondering if you had planned on updating IRISMAN with 4.84 DEX support?

You can try this *test* build of IRISMAN 4.84.2
https://www.sendspace.com/file/e9aqrp

This release doesn't include yet proper builds of MAMBA 3.x for 4.83-4.84
They are simple copies of MAMBA 4.82 since the LV2 offsets are the same.

However, PSP and PS2 emulation could be broken if some of the hashes changed in the system files (VSH, explore_plugin, etc.).
Note: If Cobra is enabled, there shouldn't be any issue, since Mamba is not used..

With COBRA, everything seems to be working fine, except Showtime, & Download Covers don't work.

EDIT: I get the following error when trying to "Download Latest webMAN": "Error httpCreateTransaction", & I get the following error when trying to use the built in internet browser: "SSL communication cannot be completed. An SSL handshake error has occurred.". If you've got anymore test builds, I'll be more than happy to provide feedback on them.

The recent update only involves the firmware detection of 4.83 & 4.84 DEX and DECR and the addition of the payload files for these firmwares. The other issues were not addressed nor verified.

The test package is a "lite" edition which does not include Showtime/Movian.
Showtime/Movian is available only in the "full" edition, but it's an old version from multiMAN (I think deank haven't updated it lately).
IRISMAN uses that version because the official version of "Movian" don't allow to pass a file as parameter, but the modified version of deank allows it.

I haven't checked the issue with the covers yet. It could be that the server is not longer serving the files. That server was originally offered to Estwald for Iris Manager and server costs tend to be high.

For the SSL error, I have to check that issue too when I return to my home. I think I changed the link to the latest build in github, but it seems it requires https.

In this build I included a proper compilation of mamba payloads for CEX/DEX based on the source code updated by @littlebalup and released in ManaGunZ 1.35 by @Zar, and updated with some of the features of Cobra 8.01 by @habib

Source code of Mamba 3.x with the modifications: https://www.sendspace.com/file/i9thrz

I changed back the link for "Download Latest webMAN".to download it from my website.

It includes the SHOWTIME 5.0.494 which is the latest build available in multiMAN.

Regarding the issue with covers download it requires a reliable server with enough bandwidth to server the community....

Something very interesting happens when using Showtime. I launch Showtime from IRISMAN, & everything works perfectly, however when I exit Showtime, IRISMAN gets renamed to Movian, & gets moved to the "TV/Video Services" column. Restoring the original ICON0.PNG, & PARAM.SFO makes everything return to normal.

@aldostools I just had chance to test the latest test build on standard DEX CFW. It seems the black screen bug has not been fixed. Perhaps a problem with the included Mamba? However when I install the latest Mamba (4.84.1) it works fine.

Please try downloading IRISMAN from github to be sure about the version that you used.

This release uses the same payload included in Mamba/PRX Loader, so both should work.
