PS3 Mysis POC Plugin Update - v0.2.1.1

The proof of concept plugin by Mysis has been updated. If you are not familiar with this plugin it offers many features, one being the ability to record your gaming on your PS3. This update adds more game recording compatibility and introduces recording of PSP, MINIS and PS1 games. Other tweaks include using a custom memory container and the ability to switch between three quality settings allowing for different resolutions. These settings can be made using the d-pad directional buttons. Remember that this is a proof of concept so expect a few bugs until the developer has ironed them all out. For more info, videos and its initial release, be sure to check out this thread. There is more so continue reading.

Just creating the folders work fine unless you rebuild database then you end up with a corrupt data icon on the XMB. So I created this GameData pkg that will give you the proper folder structure and a placeholder icon in the game data section of the XMB not to be affected by a database rebuild

Download

Edit2: also if you have already created the folder these will not change anything but give you the placeholder (so they're fine to install and won't effect the other files) be warned though if you delete it from GameData it will delete that folder and anything in it.

Hey guys.
I'm on Rebug 4.70.1 REX Cobra
Where should i put the plugin after installing the pkg created by bitsbubba? In the PRXLOADER/USRDIR folder?
And i have to create a boot_plugins.txt with the path or is not necessary?
If yes, i have to put the .txt in the root of hdd0?
Where will i find the recording/png saved?
Thanks :)

put the plugin along with the boot_plugins.txt (with the path: dev_hdd0/PS3_PPU_Project1.sprx in it) then your recording/png will be in dev_hdd0/game/PRXLOADER/USRDIR directory created by my pkg

Thanks.

I don't have any icon in the game data section of the XMB after installing your pkg, is it normal?
How can i remove that?

Nope.
The pkg has created the folders but no icon appears in the gamedata section.
I've installed the "Black" pkg.

EDIT:
Solved, i reinstalled the pkg and the icon appeared in gamedata section.
Thanks.

Wtf do i do ?

Can someone create a PKG that will do the SPRX and everything else , becuase when i created the folders and put the SPRX file in dev_hdd0 and i wnet to XMB menu and i clicked R3 nothing happended and i tried to screenshot nothing .
The people that had provided a link to PKGs they dont do anything , Please someone provide with everyting needed to make it work!!!!

IF YOU ARE ON COBRA CFW put this file into root of hdd boot_plugins also you need to have PS3_PPU_Project1.sprx in root of you internal hdd now plugin should work.

Im on Rebug 4.70 changed from CEX to DEX . So on DEX all i need to do is place the boot_plugins.txt and the sprx file in dev_hdd0 and create the folders and place the log file and the bmp. and mp4.

Cobra enable boot plugins on start. Without cobra plugins don't work "out of the box", only using "third party apps". Assuming you need cobra to run this plugin. To enable cobra go to rebug toolbox and find option to enable it.

what if i switch back to cex

Still you need enable cobra.

I just chenged to CEX and COBRA was already enabled , how am i supoose to know if the plug in wrked or not what buttons should i use?
