Anyway, it is a EU package v1.04 (not recent) which I patched for noPSN and spoofed to v1.13 which is currently the latest EU version.
This 1.04 pkg was handy and it works so I didn't look for a more recent release to patch.

1000 times THANK YOU!! I'm sure they'll find a way to ban this too but for now it works. My 2.17 stopped working a month ago and all my previous workarounds stopped working.
Kids can watch netflix again SO THANK YOU.

Same here. But really, stopped using the app. Resorted to my Netflix TV app that doesn't have DD5.1 sound. I blame Sony.

Guys honestly I doubt that someone will come up with a solution...
bitsbubba tried to find a patch even before this new set of problems & did not get anywhere....
I had a quick look & I already know it would not be easy.
I know other people, quite talented & accustomed to patching, who tried as well on other forums but were unsuccessful...

The easiest way is to get another cid, I keep saying it but really that is the answer because a dead console costs so little...
If you spend 10 bucks on a ylod console & 15 bucks to a pro to dump the nor for you ... 25 bucks it's worth it....

If you don't have the hardware to do it yourself as you could buy a teensy for 20/25 bucks too...

If I do get a new CID, what would be the exact process of spoofing it to go online.

Usually, I change the CID using CCAPI, run PS Ninja to delete all history, run PSN PATCH 4.6, login and then change the CID using CCAPI to a banned one. Is this process correct?

No CCAPI is far too cumbersome for me...
There are 3 smart ways to do this imo.

1. You use IDPSet & make a permanent change. You can get the brew from Zar at store.brewology.com v0.87
Read the release notes well..
2. Use the psnpatch plugin. Edit the cfg file properly as instructed & fill in the ids. Install the plugin. Psnpatch will do the job on plugin activation at the same time it prepares the cfw for PSN use.
3. Use webMAN-MOD to spoof ids at boot time.

I can give u more details once you have chosen which way to go...

Well, probably yes.
Remember as well that much of the stuff you download from PSN is tied to the ids used when you downloaded them. Because of that a DLC for instance that you download with a spoofed id will not work until you spoof again, even when you're offline.
Ideally a permanent change would be in order...

Yes you can install over an original but I think you can upgrade an old version or reinstall the same version but I don't think you can downgrade though...
Anyway personally I prefer to use a fresh install if I can...[emoji6]

Yes I've noticed that certain noPSN apps don't work in all CFWs as it has to do with whether the CFW contains a certain patch

At times it was Ferrox/Habib CFWs and the like had issues but never with REBUG. I'm a REBUG user from the begining, started with 3.41 and on. I used to in the begining with NoPSN apps check them on other CFWs
