Thank you so much for the help, got it working! That error just means no connection at all. Try things like different ports, different server, disable firewall for tests etc (safe when wired directly between ps3 and pc)
Looks like it just will not work for some people, must be something on your pc as it can't be ps3.
Great, did you just change port to fix it?Thank you so much for the help, got it working!
Also regarding
I can confirm that this was port related in my case
- 8071053D Unknown, possibly port problem, connection refused etc
Thanks for pointing that out. That was another mistake on my part. I don't remember why but I had hidden the button on a test build while I reworked somethings and never made it visible again.@pink1 @DeViL303 here are some things you can fix
1. I don't if I'm doing something wrong but to add new pkgs, I need to restart the program
2. related to the above problem that if I delete a pkg, then I can't 'save list and pkg xml'. it says unhandled exception occurred and the error is that the pkg is missing
Yes, just changed 80 to 8080Great, did you just change port to fix it?
If you made I direct connection check the IP settings.Hi all, I set my configuration up like Junaid shows in his images...but when i try to install the pkg from the webserver, the ps3 tells me that no ethernet cable is connected![]()
Hi Hurt Locker, sorry I'm a noob...I set up the IP settings like in Junaids picture..Is there something else I have to do? Sorry if it's dumbIf you made I direct connection check the IP settings.
You must have the settings wrong. Or your LAN is disabled on PC.Hi all, I set my configuration up like Junaid shows in his images...but when i try to install the pkg from the webserver, the ps3 tells me that no ethernet cable is connected![]()
This means your ps3 has no connection to the webserver or can't find the pkg.You were right. LAN was disabled but now I get 80710092 error......I'll check youtube over the next few days to see if anyone makes a guide ha. Feck it anyway, i'm in no hurry
there will be no guide made, re read thread, that error means your server is not reachable. You were right. LAN was disabled but now I get 80710092 error......I'll check youtube over the next few days to see if anyone makes a guide ha. Feck it anyway, i'm in no hurry
try disabling your firewall as wellWell then I have no idea what I am doing when I directly connect them. Thanks for responding anyway!
I mean a guide made by some random person on youtube, not the devsthere will be no guide made, re read thread, that error means your server is not reachable.
You need to have your webserver running and be able to access pkgs via web browser, if you cant reach it you have a network issue on your PC.
OK, yeah, It might happen, but network issue like this can be anything, other app using same port, security app on pc etc. Really there will be no guide that can include every one.I mean a guide made by some random person on youtube, not the devs
Here is another IP config picture:

Your one was great @junaid but even with that someone got confused because it had too many 1's in itI know you did it like that to make it simple but..you just cant win
Also this shows PS3 IP on PS3 which will probably save some more confusion..lol.
So I can use those settings when I directly link my ps3 to pc?Here is another IP config picture:
