PS3 PKG Linker v1.0: Scan & Serve PKGs to PS3 from PC (CFW & PS3Xploit HAN)

Apache HTTP Server has stopped working along with CGI/Fast CGI. I can't get the program working properly. i tried deleting the bin folder and the same thing happens

OK I GOT IT BACK ESSENTIALLY I AM USNG XXAMPP AND i FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS LEFT ON THE TROUBLESHOOTING PAGE..THEN I changed the ip of the server and made it the same as my pc then i put the pkg on the usb stick and installed it and then did a hard reboot not a soft one. Closed xxampp and then opened pkglinker. Just worked for me try it. Use command prompt and ipconfig to find your pc's ip address.

or you can change your ip in ipv4 settings :-p

Well i just found my lan cable laying around. Now how do you set it up for the pkg linker? I cant seem to figure it.

Heres what ive done so far

I choose wired connection ok,i go to ip settings and i enter the ip thats on the linker program activated.Everything else i enter random so it lets me through to test the settings. When i test the settings the ip succeeds but the internet connection fails.Any tips?

I keep getting error 80710092.. over and over.. when i click to install, it asks if i want to download a software.. click yes, then it stays a while in "waiting" screen, then i get this error.

Looks like i'm not being able to host my server properly. Since when i click to open server. The black promt box shows up, and immediately closes.. And in every video tutorial i see, this box stays. And for me the box closes. Don't know what i am doing wrong.

Are you using a lan cable or wifi?

i can't manage to make it work, i have reached the point where i have a list of PKGs and while attempting to install them i get a message check connection, therer must be a problem connecting my PC to the PS3 or the mini web server is not configured correctly.
i am using a switch and connecting both my PC and PS3 with wired connection and i have disabled the WIFI module.

Can the xxamp logs reveal anything as to why something goes wrong?

Guys, re read the thread including trouble shooting tab if you are still having problem, its quite simple, you need working pkgs, you need a server to be reachable from your PS3, and you need correct links in your pkg list xml, after that it wil work.

Read the whole thread again if you cant figure it out, if that does not help you then this is not for you, you are expected to have some networking skills to do this kind of thing, if you don't know how to set up IPs correctly then this will be too complicated for you. try figure out how to split your pkgs instead (in another thread)

If connecting directly, you have a few ways to run han.

1. if you have internet access on the webserver pc, bridge you connections to share the net over cable to PS3 (google bridging connection)
2. Host the exploit files locally on the webserver so that they are accessible offline.
3. Enable HAN before swapping over to direct connection, it will stay enabled until you reboot.

But if you have a router and wires on both devices, then you don't need to connect direct , that is really only for people on wifi.

And the last 2 years i was study networks...
Im so dumb, i dont know english very good, and i dont undestand the thing you tell me,
so, I connect the ps3 to the router with all option on automatic, and the pc to the router too, then only i have to start pkg linker and finish? I tried that and didnt worked

It sounds like you have tried nothing? You just plugged it in and it didn't work?? use google translate.

Try other webserver, try everything in trouble shooting tab in first post, I can not help you if you have not tried all of that. I mean disabling firewall, other ports, other servers etc etc. lots of things to try if you really want to get it working?

Double check app and server are using your real IP, maybe you have virtual adaptors or wifi and its using those etc. if you read thread you will learn about all of these issues as they have been mentioned loads of times

Hi, i had 80710092 and solved problem with turning firewall, but after that i get 80029564 error at 14% when installing and don't know what to do. Already tried something but no results.

Can someone help with that? Thank you.

@DeViL303 Hi man! I must ask this: is it only me or does the webserver override the IP-address with some default one on every execution of the PKGLINKER.exe?

Can permanently fix this somewhere?

I have trolled my self too many times now rebuilding the XML with wrong IP and lost connection on PS3 side of things =)

Sounds like a pkg signing issues, or you are using wrong method to install. its unrelated to this app.

Possible issues:
  • You are using Debug pkg enabler when you should not be
  • You have not resigned your pkgs correctly
  • You have not ran HAN enabler before trying to install a pkg
  • You are on CFW and trying to install a HAN pkg.
Please try with known working pkgs first, test with small ones that work via USB. This will not fix bad pkgs.

Yes, it scans for IP on every run in case it has changed via DHCP, if you want to use another IP then change it in the box before generating the list.

It does not override with a default one though, it is one pulled from your system, but possibly from the wrong adaptor like wifi or a virtual adaptor.

Hmm that's interesting. The IP I get is not even close to what my DHCP has given me, my LAN is on 192.168.x.xx and I get something totally off, like this ip: 84.xx.xx.xx (which has nothing to do with my internal subnet). Any chance I could turn this off or make my own version from source?

I'd also like to do these changes:
  • Turn off all confirmation dialogs when starting the .exe
  • Add ability to set permanent host IP-address
  • Add a 're-scan & host' button from inside the app.

I hope you take this the right way, I absolutely love what you've done here!

Good suggestions, and already on the way to being implemented as we speak. :)

Can you open a CMD window and type ipconfig, see what adaptors are coming up, there is a good chance one of them has that 84.x.x.x. IP , if so , if you can disable that adaptor ,maybe it will detect correct one. Not sure.

As for making your own version from source, for now no, you will have to wait for v2 that has saveable config etc, it will do everything you would like changed and more ;)

We pushed this out quick after the HAN release as so many people were having problems with writing there own xmls, the next version will be a lot better.
