PS3 PKG Linker v1.0: Scan & Serve PKGs to PS3 from PC (CFW & PS3Xploit HAN)

Ok
  • Disable wifi on pc for now too as it might pick up that IP if you don't.
  • Then open the app
  • make sure to leave server CMD window open
  • After the app has created a fresh package_list.pkg
  • Install the package_list.pkg via USB.
  • If you already had a list installed you will have to reboot here which will mean no HAN, if you had no list installed already you can skip the next 3 steps
  • Enable wifi on ps3
  • Enable HAN
  • Go back to wired settings.
  • go into HAN Toolbox
  • try install a pkg (try one that you know works from USB)
Following these exact directions gets me a wait screen for sevral minutes then i get a 80710092 error code.I turned my wifi off of my pc and my anti virus aswell.

What about the ip on the pkg linker that shows all the pkgs?

Mine says 192.168.56.1

Do i need to enter that anywhere?

Also on my pc in the ethernet section it says identified network

no, that should say 192.168.0.2 if you followed the instructions properly. change it and make a new pkg list in app, then install that on ps3, then reboot, enable han again etc

Ah so in the pkg linker the ip also has to match the protocol ipv4 adress aswell.
Yes, it should match automatically, I think the one with 56 must be your wifi or some other adaptor on your PC (could be virtual). anyway, if that is matching then it should work.

That IP gets built into the pkg, so its needs to be installed manually every time you change it in app. if you don't change it in app, after its working, then you can just update the list from the ps3 end.

Yeah whats weard is i get the 56 adress every time i launch the pkg linker.Ill try entering the protocol ipv4 adress in the pkg linker manualy then and see what i get

what dll? can you share it here, because none of us get that error. unless you mean the 100 dll that has been mentioned.
I misspelled.. i meant DLL not DDL sorry.

Since i already installed, i don't remember exactly the dll name, i think it was " MSVCR100" something like that.

I installed this dll with DLL fixer, problem solved.

I think somthing is blocking my connection because it stays on please wait for a good while before i get a error code when im running wired mode.

I have avast off, mabe its my computers built in fire firewall thats doing it.

That was actually it,i was connecting to a virtual connection.I disabled it and now pkg linker automatically goes to 192.168.0.2.Its still not working though and im hanging at a please wait screen for sevral minutes followed by a error code after its done waiting.

It could be a port number problem, the pkg linker connects to :80 and my ethernet i think could be set to somthing different.

Im getting tired of trying now so ill give it anougher try later.I think im getting close to figuring it out.

I was wondering, if through IP settings, a friend of mine can connect his ps3 on my server. But on different wi-fi. You know.. me in my house, and he at his house?

80710092 can be anything that stops you connecting
  • Windows firewall
  • other firewall
  • Cable problem
  • Port blocked on server
  • port conflict on server
  • missing dll on system
  • package_list not updated by usb since server settings changed
  • port changed in pkg linker but not changed in server settings
  • port changed in server settings and not changed in pkg linker
  • PS3 not rebooted since new package list loaded on

important things to try after reading trouble shooting tab in first post

  • disable firewalls
  • See if you can access server via ps3 web browser
  • update package list via usb everytime you change settings until it works
  • Try change ports
  • try run other servers
  • Read the entire thread and try other peoples solutions
  • google how to set up a web server and try learn about it.
  • give up and just split your pkgs

You should put this in troubleshot, it is very helpful.

Also change this
  • next open open PKG Linker and in the ip box after your ip put :8080 (should look something like this 192.168.1.12:8080 ).
To something like this
  • next open open PKG Linker and in the ip box after ip of your pc put :port(should look something like this (often 192.168.0.x or 192.168.1.x) : (80,8000,8080)) or if wired connection whichever ip is set on PC and port
Of course if you want to change it

Ive had hiccups with pkg spliter actually.Ive tried breaking persona 3 into parts, renamed all the parts to .pkg since you cant use multiman on han enabler, and then when i went to install one of the parts, it would give me a error halfway through installation.

i dont know what happened but i'm getting 8071053D error. server is running fine, no other program running on PC, the list is updated and the system rebooted, the HAN enabled, so why i getting 8071053D?

I FIXED IT :D

after changing the port number to 24 and turning off windows defender firewall it worked flawlessly after installing a new linker pkg.I also put a .dlll file somewhere to ensure the success
