Did you creat the ipv4 protocol adress on both your ps3 and pc like this?

You also have to be in wired mode in network settings on the ps3 with the han enabler on before launching the pkg linker program.Thays very important.

go to open network and internet settings,in the status tab find view your network settings and in ipv4 under your ethernet connection.It should say your ip adress that you should of made in there and it will tell you your port number,for example for me it says 192.168.0.2/24

/24 is basicly my port number so i changed it to listen 24 then i hit save.

This is not how it works at all. Nobody has "a port", Everyone has 65535 ports, and you can use any one of them. That 24 you have found is something different "the number "24" refers to how many bits are contained in the network". It just so happens that using port 24 worked for you, but it is not good advice to tell people, as normally low ports like that are used by important system services and it is confusing to tell people they "need to find their port" when its not true at all.

•find anything that might be blocking your connection and disable it

you should have your primary dns set to 9.9.9.9 to help protect your ps3 from malware. jk

I thought the number would usually be random for other people.Thats why i wrote where to find that.

Right click where your connection or wifi symbol is in windows 10

go to open network and internet settings,in the status tab

find change adapter options,make sure everything is disabled except for ethernet,

right click the ethernet option,go to properties,highlight internet protocol version 4 and press the properties option.

You should be able to set it up now.

You have to be fuc&$ing engineer in order to put a stable server up and running smoothly.
Damn Windows. I am sure there should be a hidden configuration that is jeopardizing the Ethernet connection.

That errors new.I dont see it on the list anywhere.Are you sure you have your ps3 and pc connected to the lan cable and you have a wired connection on in your ps3 network settings?

Guys pls help.I have been trying to install 2 pkg files i had ran the linker a few days back and it worked ok.But now even the pkg files show the 2 dots and triangle;the images of the games dnt show up.I managed to dload one and on installation it shows an error abd becomes corrupted. My intuition tells me i didnt sign the pkgs properly.What do u guys think?Been trying for almost 8hrs now :/ am too persistent

When I start a game that I've installed with this method, and it says that a game update is available, can I download it and install it or do I have to find the pkg for it?

Okay, I just installed Crysis 3 (6 BG, almost) using this method.

Wifi method showed 280 mins left to download.

This LAN method completed it in just 5 mins.

Moral of the Story : S#ny is a money wh#re, saved the money by installing a poop wifi chip in its flagship console. What a turd.

Thanks a million, once again to the creators of the PS3Xploit, Resigner, HAN Toolbox and the LAN method creators. Because of you, my brick of a console is now my primary source of gaming, once again.

Test with known working pkgs, small ones so tests are quick. If they work then your issue is not related to this app.

Are the icons in the usb xml still the ones on the server? If so that could be an easy way for people to test if they are connected.

They are, but I didn't want to have to explain how that works, it could add confusion as it requires the user use to use package manager instead.

If users want to use the package_link.xml on USB instead, then use package manager to load the list, they will know if they are successfully connecting to the server when icons show for the pkgs, if icons don't show, you are not connected. (this only applies to package manager)

Note: some people got han support files that included support for hdd package list in package manager, so this is not 100% way of testing either, you might be one of those people, if you are, your icons will show in package manager even if you are not connected to the server

Hi @Bloodmoons366466, I've connect pc vs ps3 to the lan cable and wired connection, so I could see the file pkg in web server. I've solve that thing, it must be the program skype, when I quit it, that error no more, and now when I press pkg file it says "Please wait..." two minute, then it say the error "80710092" help me!
