hey, @LuanTeles , here's one of my mods. I never got to complete it however. I had the bowser laugh as the audio for my coldboot. I used the mario and luigi colors for the wave along with added glare and the particles to make it look like they had just eaten a star. and, the icontex - that takes a long time to get right. u have to use the ruler tool in photoshop to get them the right size or else it will look messed up. I lost all files a while ago, but I still have the photos. :-p

the rco files haven't changed much at all. the last big change was changing the psn icon from the icontex to an rco file for some reason. I guess because it's colored. rebug changes that from blue to red I believe. lol

Hello. Has anyone tried this on the latest rebug firmware?

thanks. I was hesitant about uploading those photos since this thread is about ur mod. I'm glad u liked them though.

I really don't use my ps3 anymore. I don't even have sman installed actually. I just got burned out on the system. it would be nice to complete that mod, but that would mean starting over since I don't think I have the modded files anymore. plus, I need to figure out y my system keeps freezing. I think it's the hdd, but I'm not entirely sure.

Forgive me for asking but how do I install this? Thanks
I don't think the zip is installable by multiman so you would need to use the manual method...
First you download the v1.1 zip archive, extract it then use ftp to copy the files where they belong on /dev_flash & on /dev_hdd0. The paths are all given to you in the zip archive.
Note that /dev_flash is readonly so to write to the Flash memory, you must use /dev_blind. Depending on the ftp server you use, you may need to enable /dev_blind manually or not, for instance the Rebug Toolbox enables /dev_blind automatically but multiman requires you to manually enable /dev_blind in the settings.
You might want to keep a backup of the flash files you replace if you wanna avoid having to reinstall the CFW or extracting the files from the appropriate PUP file with Puadgui.

@LuanTeles
You might want to create a multiman installable zip, it is very easy to do & the result quite practical for end users.
And if ever people want to install only part of the archive, they can always fall back to the manual method anyway.

@LuanTeles if u want to make things easier, I have a tutorial on making an installable zip (in case u don't know how). however, not using one might be better since people can pick and choose which modded files to use. and, backing up isn't really necessary anymore when u have PUAD. ;)

Thanks was trying to figure out why I couldn't cut past in Multiman

it's pretty easy to create an installable zip. u just need to name the zip after the directory u want mounted, then place the files in their correct directories/folders. it doesn't even have to be PS3~dev_blind.zip either. oh, u need PS3~ at the beginning to tell multiman to mount that directory, then another ~ after each sub directory. that's pretty much it.

edit: I forgot to mention - make sure the directories r correct. misspelling say the resource directory will cause multiman to create the misspelled directory. I think this counts for both the initial zip as well as the content of it. I've done it before personally. mm will open the final directory once u use the installable zip, so u'll know then if u hadn't noticed it before. u should see all the flash files.

@LuanTeles , I hope u don't mind, but I just made ur installable zip. u don't most of the work with it anyway. double-click in multiman to have all the flash files installed. I didn't do the dev_hdd0 install. I think u can create an installable zip of dev_hdd0 as well, but I didn't put that in my tutorials. I've never personally tried it, but I believe u can do it as well.

Code:
https://www.mediafire.com/?1e4esuvccu97eee

The syntax for /dev_hdd0 is the same.
Btw here is an extract of the multiman changelog that may be of interest:
Added support for installable ZIP packages when filename is in special format (double click on such special zip in mmOS):

— PS3~dev_hdd0~GAMES~BLES12345~dlc.zip will prompt the user to install the contents in /dev_hdd0/GAMES/BLES12345/dlc folder

— PS3~dev_blind~test.zip -> will make mM enable WRITE access to dev_flash and install the contents of the .zip in /dev_blind/test (/dev_flash/test) folder (use with caution)

—— TIP#1: Special ZIP naming convention: prefix is "PS3″, "/" is replaced by "~"

—— TIP#2: This approach can be used to restore backups of /dev_hdd0/home or install patch-fixes or other data
