PSN Liberator - Convert PSN Content to Disc Format

Is there a way You can make A video tutorial on how to do a full conversion for a psn pkg to disc? I seem to keep running into a rif rap error and I am lost on what to put there.

I got my dat act file and my idps # in but I cant seem to make any conversions work just getting a rif / rap not found. ANy help would be amazing thx.

If u've legaly bought your psn game at the psn store you will find the needed '*.rif'-file in "dev_hdd0/home/0000000x/exdata". Simply copy it to "RIFsRAPs"-directory. Liberator will convert it to '*.rap'.
Alternativly u can convert your '*.rif' to '*.rap' yourself with the convert function in 'Extra'-menu. Then copy the '*.rap' to "RIFsRAPs"-directory.

Any illegal use of Liberator no one here will support... so if u have this in your mind please don't ask if u don't want trouble !

I remember when i used this little tool when 0.92 was released and it worked great!
But now when i try to use it again i get: Dev_Klicensee For Decrypting "File name" Not Found !, in all my PKG files even though i have the .rap files..

Please could you please help me with this problem? :(

Edit: not the above error but im having this one "Dev_Klicensee For Decrypting "EBOOT.BIN" Not Found !" i have tried with a pkg file and corresponding .edat file selected.

%% I try to convert the installed and patched pkg from my ps3 (using the installed files) when I try to convert the original pkg windows 10 break the psn liberator ((for future fixes)) =)

u could try bruteforcing the klicense with aldostools.

u need the same files as with psn liberator, plus the eboot.bin. the rap will decrypt the eboot.bin to eboot.elf, and the elf will search the eboot.elf for the klicense. the klicense is a group of random bytes which is y it must be bruteforced. an alternative, which is easier since some games take a while to bruteforce or the bruteforce tool doesn't work with them, is to enable cfw tools/dump tools/enable klicense dumping on the ps3. if u use rebug, it will be in the network column. enable it, inject the rap into ur profile with psn patch, install the game, then load the game and play for about ten minutes while the klicense is logged. then, ftp cfw settings.log from the tmp folder on the root of hdd0. it will say something like xai plugin enabled, then it will say the klicense followed by the edat that it's for.
 
I try to use the second method because I have 4.80 rebug and I enabled the klicense option....
Now I try to explain the steps of process I understand....
1- Uninstall my ps game
2- Enable the klicense tool in my rebug firmware.
3-Install the game & patch them.
4-Play with the game about ten minutes or more.
5- read the temp log and show xai plugin enabled line (here I have my klicense code)

Right?? this is the process I need? Or dont need dellete and install the game?? and only need play the game with klicense plugin enabled?? Thank you show much pinky ;)
 
that's right. some games have dummy klicense files which can be ignored. rename the edat to tell if that's the case if no klicense is logged.

if there's no klicense listed, rename the .edat extension to .e and see if the game boots. if it does, it's probably dummy data with no klicense. bruteforcing fails with games/content that have them.
 
btw, converting edat/sdat or eboots to fself makes the games completely free without the need for any klicense. fself format is so much superior in my eyes...

I test the psn liberator and this is my expirience of my test.
1-When te game have autorized.edat with the eboot.bin at USRDIR directory (you need copy the game folder to pc) convert your rif to rap, and the rap to .edat, rename and remplace the edat of the game, finally convert to iso using psn liberator
RESULT Game runs ok on iso format

2- When the game only have EBOOT.bin and no have .edat (or multiple .edat 2 or more) I try to convert using psn liberator using rif rap files and psn liberator generates the iso ((with patch.pkg in other case ((have error npdrm in one (different) files on txt log file)) I try using the iso ((previous install the patch if generate)) and the result I obtained are te same error 80010007 & 80010009 and game crash! :(
What I can do to fix this fails?? Thanks all!!
 
I converted a game that I own (Resident Evil 4 HD) from PKG and RAP into ISO. It's working perfectly. My question is, will this ISO work on my other PS3 as well as this one? Or is the RAP file unlocking it only on this one ps3? I gave PSN Liberator my ACT.DAT and my IDPS, so I was worried it will only work on this one? I'm away from my other ps3s for many months, and cannot test the ISO myself. In other words, is this ISO truly Liberated, or just on this single PS3? If I have to make a new ISO for each PS3, it would be rather pointless to bother converting them I would think. Very nice app though, regardless! I hope the answer will be 100% liberated! Then I can get rid of the PKG and RAP!

I am pretty sure that any update from Rudi will be released in this thread as usual so keep checking it from time to time.

@Rudi Rastelli @pinky update, go them to work and all is well, except when i run MMcM, the games aren't detected by MMcM and i have to use the file explorer to to double click the eboot to run game.
one thing i did notice was that a game went to update, and when it was finished, the update data was on my XMB and in game it was on a update loop. i am going to assume its just because of tittle ID saying its a XMB game and not a disc game.


anyone know how to get the games to show in MMcM? usually if i launch the eboot the game would show next boot, but this is not the case.

toy story 3 (3gb)
