PSN Liberator - Convert PSN Content to Disc Format

This has tons of legitimate uses in this app, i see no worries here [MENTION=8]Tranced[/MENTION]. Maybe a bit of bad wording on the read me, but other then that i see nothing wrong.

There is many apps that could be use in conjunction with piracy , but its primary uses are not for that.

Could anyone upload the latest version of this app to another upload center?in our country zippy share isn't accessible for "The hell of it"

ALso u don't make mention of needing the DevKlic thats Included in the Eboot.bin (unless Obscured) to allow you to encrypt other Exe files to free example SPRX/SELFS and EDATS ..
and that each file can have its own key. much simpler to reuse your original rifs. ;)
Using Break N' Make you can encrypt it back to needing the rif key as well. Allowing you to do any mods that you would normally do and still make it need the rif Key. if your have your original files that is.
not trying to Jack the thread.. just some information on the other Keys needed for "FREE"

Liberator tries to get the (dev)klics needed for self/sprx/edat 1st from aldo's database and if not found it tries different approaches to bruteforce them(with EBOOT.ELF as a source-file).... seems to be working in most cases.

Is any way to grab act.dat ON OFW?;/

i mean if the user want to use it for OFW,can he?because the app needs ACT.DAT from the console for converting the titles right?

Even if it's possibile, custom generated rif's or modded eboot to remove NPDRM protection don't work on OFW.

so in this case could you add a Flag or something to alow 1:1 Bubble/Extra Iso .
because not everyone uses Fake Rifs/Raps . :( or Free format..

unless this will allow a 1:1 Copy meaning not attempt to make the files Free and just copy them to a ISO format for Later Install ..

thanks for answering,but i thought about using the activated PSN content via your app on PS3 backup using MuXport!!!
this is not possible too right?because i read that in one news center !!!

[MENTION=100]Skiller[/MENTION] : U can add any pkg-file to the bubbel-disc.

But there is a small drawback:
I recently tried it with the latest updates of multiMAN and psn patch and it does not install them. Instead it starts the installed(old) versions. I guess that's because the new versions are still 4.66 versions.
Have an idea to fool the update-system... i'll try that and if it works it will be added in next version.

[MENTION=1331]Cyberka0s[/MENTION]: I don't know the answer... why don't u try and let us know the results ?

Regards
Rudi

Is this tool safe to use when being online?
Do you think that they are any security checks if the license should be given to certain account or it will be suspicious when no license is needed?
What is your experience with using this tool?

[MENTION=108]Rudi Rastelli[/MENTION] I moved your post/thread from member submission into the forum here into the Utility Section. (Also changed the 1st post layout.). Nice work :)

Hi! I tried to use this tool to convert a .pkg into an iso (so I could play it off my NTFS external drive). Unfortunately I always get an error:

Code:
Error:
Dev_Klicensee for Decrypting "eboot.bin" Not Found !

Any advice? I'm still trying to figure out how all this CFW stuff works. Thanks!

What's the name of the game ?

What's the name of the game ?

Braid. Starting from a .pkg file, with a .rif and a .rap copied to the appropriate folder. I also tried copying the game folder from the PS3 and processing that but it gives the same behaviour. Does it matter that it's a PSN-only game?

I also tried Journey, but got a similar error:

Code:
Dev_Klicensee for Decrypting "Guard.txt.edat" Not Found !

When I tried copying its game directory off the PS3, it spent a long time (at least 5 or 10 minutes) on the step

Code:
* SEARCHING DEV_KLICENSEE FOR *
Guard.txt.edat

then another long wait on

Code:
* SEARCHING DEV_KLICENSEE FOR *
eboot.bin

and then finally gave me the same error as before, but this time for "eboot.bin".

Thanks for your help!

Shit, never mind! Updating the database (Extra->Update Database) fixed those errors! Sometimes it's just the simple things.

Thanks again.

Excellent work as always. Just converted to folder_format to check but haven't test it on ps3 yet. I have few Qs. just for my knowledge: I have noticed that the conversion don't have LICDIR/LIC.DAT. Choosing and selecting PSN game unlock file (*.pkg/*edat) option/file what exactly does it do? does it automatically copy edat file to ps3 hdd0 exdata folder? when executing the game or it used for something else
Thanks & Regards.
