In the device manager try to "show hidden devices", sometimes there are rests fron previous installs/uninstalls, delete all that and rebootAh man, no I don't I needed to make room for the 14 rebugs I downloaded, but yeah I can check it out later tonight. I'll just download them again. I was supposed to be finishing my mod tutorial, but my fucking mic broke and now I gotta put the project on hold again until my next chequeso I got time. Unless I can figure out why none of my really old mics are working on Win7. Yes I installed the drivers. All 4 mics worked in my MP4, which broke, and yeah I checked all my audio settings too. Even tried a separate PC on Ubuntu. Dafuq man
they all used to work, clearly a software issue so I'm gonna try a live version of XP next.
And for the firmwares, i was meaning there are several changes in official firmwares, this is what we know:
category_psn.xml 4.75 - MD5:614bd5baf1d5c37ca3a27b0349906742
category_psn.xml 4.76 - MD5:?
category_psn.xml 4.78 - MD5:?
category_psn.xml 4.80 - MD5:?
category_psn.xml 4.81 - MD5:906BC65812C7106E4181CEED59DDC25A
category_psn.xml 4.82 - MD5:?
category_psn.xml 4.83 - MD5:158FE74BDB48C84A9798C3D1FE817986
So they was clearly changing something in the list of items displayed in the XMB PSN category in latest firmwares
Actually, we can deduce there is a change either in 4.82 (previous) or in 4.83 (actual), but what is it ?
Personally i dont care enought to start downloading and comparing hashes, but i guess eventually i will know (and i will fix the table in wiki) so no hurry for me. I dont think that changes are going to be important, but anyway is interesting to see what changed and wtf are they doing
But never minds, if you dont have the official firmwares downloaded already dont worry, there is no need for you to do it
