PS3 Taking PS3 Wave mods to the next level (lines.qrc)

Hi, is there any chance i get this startup without the PS3Pro PKG ?

the PS3pro mode is great, thx for making it, but I just don't like few things about it, like how to enter webman mode setting and the fps layout doesn't show the clock speed when OC

thank you.

Well, it includes the option to use the default game category, making webMAN function like it was before. Additionally, the FPS counter offers options for overlays, allowing you to easily enable or disable features as desired.

But back to your question, yes you can use it, just extract the coldboot.raf and it's sounds from the pkg

thank you so much for letting me know. The PS3pro mode is amazing looking I just got lost using it, probably because it was my first time and I'm used to the old normal way.

I'll definitely give it another try and see.

Those silver waves have a certain time they appear on the xmb if u check the video time it was taken was around 8pm-12/1 so in short the time dictates the type and colour of wave u see so u can go on ur ps3 and go on time then just move the hours from 12am-12pm to see when the colour of waves shows that u prefer then edit the QRC to show the color u want always

sounds easy but nope its not you need to do research and give it a go and direction to take
The wave consists of multiple scripts (called mnu). The scripts used at any given time are based on specific factors, so there is logic to it. You'll have to go on devwiki to know when each is called. It's complicated though, so getting the wave to do specific things is difficult.

Well, I tried to port over the 1.02 waves. I followed most of the same process DeViL did, but I did have to do some tinkering of my own with the MNU files to make it use the "night" override at all times of day.
I don't think I got the startup sequence fully right, but besides that I think it looks accurate enough. I didn't have to touch the textures for the colors themselves, just making it use said override was good enough. I was unable to find anyone who was able to do this while keeping the blue-ish tint that the wave itself has in the original pre-3.00 firmwares, so I thought I'd share this.

By the way, if you empty out each MNU file in an override, it'll just fallback to the MNU files in the root of the lines.qrc file itself. XForge doesn't let me delete them outright, but I suspect it would do the same thing.

Iirc, you can force nighttime at all hours by changing the red, green, and blue 1 and 2 floats from 1 to 0. I read somewhere that they originally used a coldboot.sprx instead of RAF, and the coldboot was introduced on 2.70, but the sound was available since the introductory firmware, just no video.

you can grab it from my pro mod. (lines.qrc and custom_render.rco)
Wasn't there a sprx involved in it as well?

How do you port .fpo and .vpo files from older firmware QRC files? I'm trying this with the 2.50 icons.qrc file by taking the ones from it and putting it in the 4.92 icons.qrc file and it soft bricks the system.
