Nice @bguerville seems the dev listened to your request.
Yep he did.
A new 2.30 release supporting all categories. Really cool of him. [emoji5]️

Just tested this new release.
Added categories support works for fast package repack only as far as I understand it & I would have loved this to be integrated in custom repack too but it's already good enough as is.

Thanks @jjkkyu

I have try to create a working package with your IPLA_POLSKA.pkg
Particularity about this is the Category WT Web TV that permit to start a web link from xml file. But I can't never repack this one correctly :( If you got any solution, pls let me know

I looked with the T/A 2.35 version, of course as WT Web TV was not supported, the pkg needed a USR/EBOOT.BIN to compile as a gemexec TV App. It would install in the right place but would of course try lo launch the eboot from the XMB instead of the link.

But as I was looking for some kind of workaround using a different category, our dev @jjikkyu has delighted us with yet another swift response to this user problem: a new release!

So I downloaded v2.40 & tested it. It works perfectly with the new XMBLink pkg type in Custom Pack but the type is not supported yet with Fast Pack & throws an error.
Test the results here:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/8...B00703_00-PL000000FULL0100-A0100-V0100-RE.pkg

Note that the WT Web TV category is not supported by @aldostools Make PKG in PS3 Tools Collection AFAIK which makes T/A Pkg Rebuilder the only tool I know capable of producing this type of link pkg! At least, in an automated manner, maybe there's manual way I am not aware about?? Aldo might enlighten us...
Now we can install a link to the XMB easily via a pkg!!
With the plethora of web commands available in webman-mod this is bound to be useful!

For all those interested by this feature, the use of XMBLink is explained here:
http://psdevwiki.com/ps3/Web_Browser
The use of the feature in T/A 2.40 is explanatory & you can use the pkg sample above to get an idea.

As I said the only tiny limitation is that you cannot use Fast Pack for XMBLink.
Wink, wink, wink..

Well done @jjikkyu

i checked some categories such as BV, AS has no samples yet.
if provided, i would try to make them supported.

I updated the resource to v2.40 & added a mirror as well.:)
I kept the resource assigned to you @jjikkyu.

About those 2 other types, BV & AS, I am not sure I even ever had one myself..
Need to check & get back to you...

Yes that's what I was trying to do as a workaround for @0_obeWAN before you posted the updated version that now handles it!

I think u can get a lot of the content types through hex editing make_package_npdrm. it shows forced install and many others if u look in the text portion.

Universal extractor can handle that kind of files and unpack them in to readable form. But only text strings will be readable. Is not recompiler :) And fyi there is no single content type included.
Edit: My bad, there is something useful

PS. Is not a only way for obtain that info. ;)

u can also play around with make_package_npdrm's package.conf to make different packages. I learned how to make theme packages by doing that. I wasn't aware of the double-folders though. I think one is meant to verify the content before making the pkg. funny thing about themes is that u can put 10+ themes into one pkg, and it doesn't matter. the theme can be encrypted or not, and it doesn't matter either. :p
