In this release the developer has added of course 4.81 CFW support for what appears only on CEX CFW at this time, but Stealth (aka StealthMAN) user will see an update supporting 4.81 CEX. This is a feature rich and popular backup manager that now has full 4.81 (CEX) Support . Additional releases for the PS3 firmware update of 4.81 can be seen here in our forums.

(4.81.01): deank has released the latest version that gives full DEX support to the backup manager. Update 2 (4.81.02) developer @deank has released a new update providing a fix for a reported issue that addressed a problem with nethost/netiso feature on DEX Custom Firmwares

mM 04.81.02 was released when I removed the link for the test version and is available within mM as always (or from the web column) Also sacd-ripper.pkg is updated to support DEX 4.80

This SACD Ripper is compiled with support from 3.55 up to 4.81. It doesn't require keys on usb stick and hopefully the extracted modules will work on all firmwares. Let me know if someone tests it.

If you can find out when the issue was started it'd be very helpful. Like testing cobra 7.1,7.2,7.3 and 7.31

All test are done with/on:
- multiMAN_04.81.02_CEX_BASE_(20170108)
- REBUG_TOOLBOX_02.02.12
- activated COBRA-Payload (depending of installed Rebug-CFW)

Results:
REBUG_4.70.1_REX_COBRA_7.1.0: LV1 (HV) dump through "mm" --> NO FREEZE
REBUG_4.75.1_REX_COBRA_7.1 : LV1 (HV) dump through "mm" --> NO FREEZE
REBUG_4.76.1_REX_COBRA_7.2 : LV1 (HV) dump through "mm" --> FREEZE
It's seems to be COBRA since 7.2

Good job, I'll see what I can do

You 'r so freaky. YAY, THX.

Btw, I don't think your LV1 dumps from COBRA 7.1 and below are good while COBRA was active, because COBRA's drm used to prevent peeking LV1 which was why @deank wasn't able to add a lot of features from multiMAN to mmCM.

Yes, I noticed that.

But, ok Joonie. I have tested it ever and ever on multiMAN_04.81.02_CEX_BASE_(20170108).
When I do not activate the COBRA-FUNCTION on "REBUG_4.81.2_REX_COBRA_7.5", multiMAN_04.81.02_CEX_BASE_(20170108) on "mm-Mode", the thing will do the work well: No freeze.

But, when COBRA-MODE firstly will been enabled, with the using of the same settings, then there would appear the shown bug --> Freeze... --> DS3 sync issue, Restore File System,...

--> Since "REBUG_4.76.1_REX_COBRA_7.2" the bug will appear.

The issue is whether it dumps lv1 with cobra or freezes, it's either dumping corrupted lv1 dump or not dumping at all so it's technically not working on mmCM and multiMAN, regardless of Cobra differences.

Ok, understand, Joonie. Do you think, this would be a forwarding issue to Deank?

Yes we can ask @deank to add support this lv1peek for Cobra since all Cobra 7.x uses Syscall 11 to peek, however it has a partial support for Syscall8 to disable Cobra while it's attempting to peek lv1 by using Cobra Syscall 8

The implementation was originally introduced by Cobra 7, but that only allowed Iris manager while Cobra was active, and later on @aldostools added an extended support for peeking lv1 with syscall 8

Here's the code

Yes, yes, I have spended my brain time on this, but forgot.
Ok, what would be the best solution? @Deank?

@Deank

Ok, the thing is easy for an standard user.

It is possible to dump the HV through Rebug Tool-Box, but not possible to do it through "mm"...

The check that was changed by aldo causes dumpers to crash because it calls opcodes instead
I fixed it now
But its good to use syscall 11 in cobra to peek because its not going to dump<0x9800 or >0x1000
that is why i am using different cobra syscall11. it will not interfere with dumpers or anything else :D

this should have be done at first, when cobra was released, but well...

Dear users,
I'm trying to download multiMAN base from Brewology store but it is impossible (no way to do it).

I've tried to download diferente versions of multiMAN base, using diferente laptops, diferentes browsers and also via the PS3 directly, it stop downloading around 19 or 20 MB.
  • Did any one face the same issue?
  • There are any alternative like to download the multiMAN?
Thanks in advance for your help and support.
