PS4 WARNING - - - PS4 2.50 CFW Claims

With all the positives coming from the PS4 hacking scene there is the unfortunate side of some negative stories or i should say what most likely appears to be a scam and i would personally proceed with alot of caution. There is a rumor that is circulating through various scene sites of a team that has a CFW for PS4 and also the same team is said to have a downgrade device in the works as well, this is highly unlikely and this team of unknowns does not give ANY information or any Proof of Concept to prove they have accomplished this. Since the original announcement that surfaced, the team has since said they will not release a CFW but are working on the Downgrade Device and are taking pre-orders. This very unethical to try and take pro-orders on something if you have not shown or even detailed anything yet pertaining to the device, which raises a few red flags in my view and provides a bit of motive for the claims if foul play is in play. I personally do not even want to list this site as i do not want to take part in promoting this website, as i feel with the details presented at this time and how things are presented that this is a scam in order to rip people off of pre-orders sales on a device that does most likely does not exist.​

This is not news, this is a warning to the community (placed on the front page, cause that's where most start) not to believe the BS !!! it is not a meaning to attack [MENTION=2]STLcardsWS[/MENTION]

 

I am not attacking anyone I also feel no need to congratulate anyone for posting exactly what they were trying to prevent. If I was trying to down play something I would not provide a picture that could possibly lead my money generating users to the crap I was trying to discredit.

Well i informed user's without promoting the site in question. I think i did what was needed to warn others for what many feel is a scam. I keep away from promoting the fakes

So i think i warned and rendered an opinion on a subject that honestly should not of even been on any site but its out there and i was asked about it and i rendered an opinion along with a warning.

u might want to cut back on the drinking. I know it's difficult. I have a hard time myself. u'll regret it later though.

 

without proof of functionality, we can not believe in such a thing, thank you to warn users before there is damage on ps4

The STLcardsWS is a great defender of Playstation scene, more respect for those who dedicate their lives to helping others.

I had noticed that negativity too and Im only new, like that comment he made in the Freestyle Sessions thread, [MENTION=9]tthousand[/MENTION] put him in his place though #153

And of course its a good idea to put up a story like this warning users about a new possible scam like this, Im really not sure how anyone could think this was promoting them. If only every scene site had a warning like this up, the possible scammers would have no chance of selling until they provided some proof of a working hack as when people search google for it they will find warnings at the top/first few pages.

Is post on news help others to not get scamed and even if the link is/was there only a no brain dude would go there to buy it, that just means that they don't read the full notice and warning the thread poster as done.

Need to be real dumb to buy something like that were in the same thread says its scam.

Dr. L Ron Bumquist is the only person banned who wasn't spamming. and, he's not even perma-banned. that's how forgiving [MENTION=2]STLcardsWS[/MENTION] is. that's the way I would be as well. I understand mess ups whether drunk or whatever. just note, u'll be given some time off if u do that. I only mention this because I know how I'd feel if I had a drunken tirade. those have happened with me, but STLCardsWS is one of the most understanding people, so cool down, don't do it again, and I'm sure he'll forgive u. I think most of us will. I've messed up myself on other sites, so I understand.

well, I'm a softie. I'm not like other mods or staff on other sites. I realize that some people have issues such as a drinking problem which he mentioned when he was banned a few months ago. I'm trying to help him rather than just throwing him away. I would do the same with anyone else. I don't want anyone to be thrown away completely or be beyond reproach. sometimes u really mess up.
