@0_obeWAN has a new release following the previous PS3 Coolboot Collection (PS3 Extra - ISO) release, this time around instead of coldboots this Collection comes with various XMB waves that can be easily installed from the XMB once the ISO is mounted by a homebrew manager. View additional details and the included XMB Mods contained in this latest release from 0_obeWAN , Also take note your CFW must have the ability to run ISO, for Cobra/Rebug User's be sure Cobra is enabled and also for Standard CFW user's you will need to be running Mamba for ISO support.

  • Instructions:
    • Download and transfer ISO file to dev_hdd0/PS3ISO/
    • Mount with your favorite manager, like an ISO game
    • Navigate on "waves collection disc", choose yours
    • Install press X and answer YES, wait to XMB return.

I'm assuming all of these waves r for 4.xx firmware? on 3.xx firmware, the header changes many times, so sometimes waves r incompatible. this might be true of 4.xx as well (haven't tested). I think it may be the location of files that causes this issue. the particles and the elf files have different offsets on one of the 3.xx firmware versions. not sure if that's what causes the problem or not though. it's just a theory of mine. :p

edit: u can sometimes tell if the wave will be compatible by the seventh and eighth byte. 4.xx, afaik, is always 9A E0.

I need help installing this
i know it shows the intruction but i still dont know how to install it
can someone help me?
This is an iso release. Just mount this as you would mount any iso game with your backup manager.
Once it appears mounted on xmb, just launch the coldboot installation of your choice.
Watch the video demo!
