PS3 4.76.1 REBUG LITE w/ COBRA v7.1

A new CFW release comes from Team REBUG as they officially release 4.76 REBUG LITE that comes equipped with Cobra v7.1 features. This release differs from many rebug releases as it will not contain any DEX features and will not have access to some REBUG features, but with Cobra v7.1 you get many great CEX based features so if you are not looking at all those features but want a reliable CFW then this latest REBUG CFW could be that fit. No says "unsupported data"
I tried 2 different USB drive but nothing, from the xmb CFW is read and installed perfectly

It's fine for me, what's your ps3 model? and also, try disabling spoofer if you're on 4.75.3

No wait I'll explain
I was up 4.76 Lite rebug and I damaged the CFW with a code that I had written bad for a homebrew
To restart the PS3 came into safe mode where neither 4.75.3 and 4.76.1 were detected
Then I walked into the normal recovery mode and not even from here I could reinstall the 4.76.1 but I installed 4.75.3
Then restart I installed 4.76.1 by XMB

I cannot help you with that since I don't know how to damage CFW like you did.. Maybe you should consider FSM sometime or change hdd..

not sure what could've happened there, but there was a fake psp emulator that would damage the hypervisor in some way. the only way to fix the problem was fsm. maybe something similar has happened here.

r u saying that u did something with a homebrew, then accidentally deleted category_game.xml, now it's asking for u to reinstall the firmware, but u can't due to what u did with the homebrew? can u access the xmb at all? I always install new firmware with update debug.

I see, but I still have no clue about epicboy's weird issue with performance drop on rebug only... He said habib cfw fixes his issue..

Sorry, I haven't read all posts...
I'm currently taking vacations in my secondary residence till next week. I have only a CECHC on hand.
Next week I'll have my CECHH. And I have A CECHL in stock I have to jailbreak. So I'll be able to test and compare.

Orion CECHC fourth softbrick due to my developer wannabe (...) still recovery update working for me. I don't know what you did to affect emer_init.self. Anyway are you sure that error was unsupported data? I never heard about that error (also no nr of error?).

I assume he is only trying xmb installation via system update debug with pups on internal hdd and recovery installation via usb hdd. So maybe his data is really corrupted or USB is not working properly. Orion you'd better check your md5 hash on usb or check usb and last thing you wanna do would be FSM/3.55 installation or changing HDD. This is my last advice

I tried remote play with a Vita , first i tried God of War Collection , one of the few officially supported games , it is working rather well
Then i tried Dante's Inferno , it is working but the resolution is visibly lower than GoW , is there any way to increase it ( from the Param.sfo maybe ? )

One game that didn't work at all is The Last of Us :(

Joonie sorry I haven't been able to test out the 4.65 fw. I became unexpectedly busy and might not be able to test this week. I'll try though. And i wanted to know if installing from recovery vs installing from xmb makes a difference?

No differences in performance. From my experience at least
