Kozarovv pretty much summed it up,
Of the models I own I use the DECH-J the most, this model I find produces the best temperature without having thermal paste underneath the ihs plates removed,it lives between 28 and 35 degrees,
(although many would argue that a CECH-J models gpu is not good)
where as the cech-2003 slim I have lives between 46 and 55 degrees,
I have worked on many ps3s over the years and there's one thing that is very clear,
If you get a good console and take care of it, it doesn't matter about model number,
it depends more on the individual console,
(some fats are better than slims and some slims are better than fats)
only thing is ask yourself if you want bc model or not,
I would advise you to ask the sellers what temperature the console gets to after 60 mins of being on and what sort of fan control that is with (if any), the answer to those questions can help you know if it is a good console or not.
(providing the seller tells the truth :p)
Also as Kozarovv said stay away from CECH-G, that is the only model I would say that about but they are made poorly in design.
