  • Here is the latest update to the HAN Toolbox - v0.3

Thanks to Team PS3Xploit we have got lots more features at our disposal and we also added some of our own to the toolbox this time around.

    New features in this version

    • Soft Reboot added
    • Hard Reboot added
    • Shutdown Added
    • File Explorer Added (browse and delete (unlink) files)
    • New auto running links for all Xploit options (no buttons to push)
    • Moved all Xploits except "HAN Enabler" into sub categories
    • Submenu added for DEX Firmware Xploits (NOT for Normal HAN users)
    • Original manual start Xploits still available under legacy menu
    • Built in Toolbox Updater (Update from the XMB in future)
    Features from v 0.1
    • HAN Installer
    • HAN Enabler
    • License Dumper
    • License Injector
    • Debug Package Enabler
    • Support Forum
    • Install Packages From Webserver (PKG Linker Required)

    Important Note:

    • It doesn't matter which order you do this in, but you should run HAN Installer again with freshly downloaded han support files to add support for Toolbox v0.3 either before or after installing the pkg, after installing the pkg you can go to Game Data Utility and delete the v0.2 data. If you don't do this things, v0.3 will not show, and you will still have 0.2 showing. Its ok if you have v0.2 and v0.3 showing at the same time, just delete v0.2 Game Data and reboot to clear it.

We are now removing the "beta/poc/wip" tags for v0.3 of the Toolbox. Still lots of work to do before a v1.0 release though.

    Auto Running Xploits
    • Now the main HAN Enabler button will link up to the official page for the Auto running version of the Xploit, So its a quicker process. The original versions of the Xploits with webpages are still accessible through a subcategory along with Auto running versions of all. Also added is a File Explorer feature feature that allows the PS3 file system to be browsed to check if files exist, and you can also delete files of folder by pressing the triangle button and selecting Unlink/Unlink Folder, Use the delete function carefully and don't delete important files or else you might need to reinstall FW or format HDD.

    Future Toolbox Updates
    • Also you will no longer need to update HAN Toolbox via pkg anymore after installing this update, when the next updates comes out you will be update it fron the XMB just like a game.See the new setting item inside the HAN Toolbox.

    Package Linker
    • Since the last release we have also released PKG Linker v1.0 For Windows that serves as an all in one package server, Its going to become more important over the next while, So make sure to check that out too HERE.

More updates to come soon from @pink1 and @DeViL303, we have not forgotten about Demo Downloader either. ;) Special thanks to @esc0rtd3w from Team PS3Xploit for his extra help with everything. Thanks to all the staff and devs at PSX-Place too.

when using the install package from webserver to transfer games from the PC to the PS3, this message appears: an error occurred during the download operation (8071053D)
I'm using HAN Tollbox Data v0.3
Can you help me? Thank you

Hi guys, just to be safe please do not run the HAN installer with HAN enabled to install new support files, I did it by mistake and now my PS3 is booting and when the intro music sounds the ps3 reboots again but into recovery mode, I tried to fix it by doing data base rebuild, restore settings, even formatting but the results are always the same, the only way to restore I think is using the OFW with a USB,I cant do this because my ps3 super slim does not have the WIFI/Bluetooth network card (it was extracted because a short circuit draining power) so I am basically bricked, just made an account to warn you all :)
there should be absolutely NO REASON for HAN Installer to not work if HAN enabled. It literally just copies files and reboots.

i and several others have had 0 issues with it, testing several menus and options

it must have to do with the hardware missing for Wifi/BT and was never tested under those conditions.

i feel bad for your situation, but there is nothing to fix that we know about. if someone can verify this with a flasher and OFW under these conditions then maybe there is an issue that can be addressed.

OMG multiman in the thumbnail . Multiman confirmed OFW get n0sc0ped . MLG rekt . Xddddd . And did it worked?
spoken like a TRUE NOOB!! :D

how about actually watch the video haha

and also, anything can be installed or just change an icon...no big deal, but if you actually watch the video he says he just put it on there to see what happened!

CFW2OFW converted games do not require HAN in general, check your game to see if that's already confirmed to work on compatibility list, not all the games are supported. Some games require per-game modules which have to be NPDRM signed properly.

That error is a license error.

If you enable HAN:

you can only play the games you resigned for HAN using the ps3xploit resigner app but other games (not resigned for HAN) will error out on launch until you reboot the console. Rebooting will disable HAN & allow you to launch those games successfully.

Like Joonie said, games in the CFW2OFW compatibility list don't require HAN resigning to be installed & run.
So basically you should choose one of the 2 options below:

1. Resign for HAN all your npdrm games whether they are CFW2OFW compatible or not & simply enable HAN when you start the console.

2. Resign for HAN only the npdrm games that require it & enable HAN to run them. When you decide to play a non HAN resigned game, you must first reboot the console if ever you enabled HAN during your session.
