PS2 How to burn properly a disc?

Just stick to DVD-R if you're using fat version. Slim version might be better with this. Why would you need DVD-RW disc for that? Keep erasing and re-burn the game backups all over again and again?

Absolutely NOT!

Well actually you can but again it isn't suggested due to the strain on the laser.

Well you can use them for PS3 if the game is small enough but again it's not suggested as DVD-RW put such a strain on the laser. RW disc really shouldn't be used in anything except a PC. Besides with PS3 there are much faster and more efficient ways of doing this. Even over your network is a great way to play games. Basically if you value your optical drive avoid RW media. The only system I know that was designed to use RW media was the original Xbox but that's mainly just due to the fact that the OG Xbox is just a standard PC using standard off the shelf PC parts with a custom OS. It wasn't designed specifically for that just came they way because it's just a PC more or less.

my answer is right?
No...Stop fooling yourself! You're now look like an idiot!

Long short story:

1. Follow the guides given here on burning PS2 game disc.
2. DVD-RW are not reliable on PS2 fat versions.
3. Don't even thinking to put burned PS2 game discs on PS3 superslim. It won;t work either.
