WebMAN LaunchPad (webMAN MOD Add-On -Unofficial)

PS3 LaunchPad (Unofficial addon for webMAN MOD) v0.17

How to reload the games? mine doent refreshed i hit refresh launchpad and nothing changed

so i wipe it cache if rebug menu, and no items anymore, hitting refresh, inside webman refresh xml. html no effect
You have 3 options to make games list changes appear on XMB:
1. Use Refresh XML & reboot.
2. Use "Scan content on startup", no need to refresh manually, a reboot is sufficient.
3. Use the latest prepNTFS to make changes appear without rebooting.

Worked after wiping temp folder, and scan content on startup

Thanks

Now for me the only thing i cannot get working is TO LOAD A GAME.. it says 404 BAD REQUEST... and about recent games loaded with my games folder. it dessapears after rebooting, and at the end of the list of games in launchpad are one empty slot witha NEW badge on it

Other question: how is it sorted? because doent seem to be alphabetically

Okay guys, i will upload here...... one more question i translated some lines for my language (Brazilian Portuguese)
compiled and but now the icons doesnt show in xmb all the icons insede explore_plugin_full.rco

any tip to how to recompile for ps3? i just checked none in headers compression and all the possibilities with image compression, none etc and a lot of combinations it still shows no icons
Let me explain you the problem of rcomage compatibility with PS3, is a bit long but you will get where is the problem and what to do to avoid it
Inside RCO the images can be stored in GIM format (most). When creating a GIM file is needed to use a tool made by sony (and released publically by them as part of the PSP and PS3 themes official toolkit) named GimConv.exe

The PS3 firmware is restrictive for some of the images and requires a GIM made with some specific settings... rcomage doesnt cares about the original GIM settings
In other words... when you extract the contents of an RCO file with the "rcomage GUI" and mark the checkbox for "convert images" (this extracts the GIM contents) you are losing the settings sony used to create every GIM file because rcomage is not able to identify the original GIM settings so it doesnt keeps any record of them for rebuilding purposes
And there is no way back, at this point you are fucked up, if you rebuild the RCO is not going to work because rcomage will use some GIM settings that are generic, and PS3 firmware needs some GIM files build in a way... and others in a different way
Instead, rcomage is going to use the same settings for all GIM files, that settings was fine for PSP but not for PS3

To avoid this problem the easyer way is to not modify the GIM files (the golden rule of "better dont touch it" applyed to GIM format)... is the same you did but dont mark the checkbox "convert images" this way all the images will be extracted as GIM (most)
Then modify the language.xml files for portuguese and rebuild the RCO, this should work

If you really want to change the GIM images then you are going to need to work a bit more, because is needed to identify the GIM settings for the icons you want to modify
This process is a pita, but basically consists in making a GIM2GIM conversion (choosing different settings for each conversion, is the classic test-and-error game)... if the resulting GIM has the same hash of the original it means you found the settings
The good news is as far i know there are only 2 different GIM formats used in PS3 firmware... so is one or the other (only a couple of tests), if you find another new GIM format that doesnt passes the GIM2GIM verification please report it back

This GIM format conversions needs to be made in command line because rcomageGUI doesnt shows them but the command line does, is explained here in more detail

You seem to be having lots of problems nobody else has had, I suspect you have overwritten icons from this when you compiled this rco with Habib icons.

Don't know why your games are not loading but if it's saying bad request that means webman is receiving the command from this, so this is working correctly.

If you have a clean install of Rebug and a clean install of launchpad v0. 18 it will probably work OK.

Another thing to note is, if you "clear cache" it could take a minute for your items to re appear as the covers need to download.

I don't see a reason to read icons from RCO and fighting with this format just to get icons for custom menus. It would be easier to read PNG from dev_hdd0 (I don't remember syntax so look into XMBM+2017 XMLs, 99% icons are loading from HDD).

Of course, but for this item all icons read from rco, and there is no way to change it.

same problem after clear install

i realized that the Launchpad is pointing to 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost in webbrowser

changing it in the adress bar loaded just fine.... how can i replace this as deault?

There is no way to change that. It works for everyone else..I think your PS3 must have some other issues, you should not have move items around the XMB, and change fixed IP addresses to get things to work that have been working fine for other people for months.

Damn HAHAHA formated my hdd LOL and tried from scratch.

I realized that when i replaced the 127.0.0.1 with local host i also deleted one /

the adress is ponting to http://127.0.0.1//mount_ps3/..... after 127.0.0.1 must have only one / not //

I don't get the issue with 127.0.0.1 & localhost mentioned above... Both point to the exact same thing on most machines out there.
By definition, localhost points directly to the local machine whereas 127.0.0.1 is associated to localhost by the loopback network interface. We call this the local loopback & although we could in theory use another ip address for loopback, it's standard practice everywhere in the world to rely on 127.0.0.1.

You can safely use both ways to call the local machine, there is no difference in practice.

deleting one of them it works

Why i'm the only having this problem haha

I don't know, if you are getting two "/" in all your game mount links then that will be your issue, but I don't know why you would be the only one having this issue, if webMAN mod is generating an xml with 2 in every link then it must be your version of webMAN MOD, I would say try another. Which version are you using?

Tried the oficial one (doent support) but the path is right it says game loaded and the notification but web doent close, and doent load the disc icon

i'm on lastest 1.47.05 MOD didnt tried previous version because cant find a link

EDIT

1.46.02 works,, so the problem is with lastest webman

@LuanTeles

Well the code to build the mount links is located in games_xml.h & game_html.h. It typically follows this kind of format:

Launchpad in games_html.h
Code:
flen = sprintf(tempstr, "http://%s/mount_ps3%s/%s", local_ip, param, enc_dir_name);
XMB Games list in games_xml.h
Code:
read_e = sprintf(tempstr, "<Table key=\"%04i\">" XML_PAIR("icon","%s") XML_PAIR("title","%s") "%s" 	XML_PAIR("module_action", "http://%s/mount_ps3%s%s/%s"), key, icon, templn, WEB_LINK_PAIR, local_ip, neth, param, enc_dir_name);
In both cases, the first "%s" in the http string gets replaced by the value of the local_ip variable (which btw should probably be modified into a "const char" array type..) .
The value assigned to local_ip in main.c is "127.0.0.1" so naturally the beginning of the mount link built by the 2 fragments of code above would be "http://127.0.0.1/mount_ps3". No double '/' after the ip address... I have looked quickly for all the "mount_ps3" instances in the current master tree & in the 1.47.05 branch but did not find anything suspicious at all so far.

Not sure what is going on here for you...
games_html.h & games_xml.h have been the most modified files in the past months, they have been modified in nearly every commit since January... However if 1.47.04 works, it limits the scope of commits to investigate.

Still, someone would need to reproduce the issue first before we decide to debug the code...

What are the other issues you are having?
The games are not mounting although you get notified that mounting was successful?

And you say the webpage doesn't close?
There should be no web page opening with the xmb links as they should rely on the wm proxy to mount games... Are you using the html games list..? If yes, can you try with the XMB links directly?
Note that if your xmb links open a web page, it means that the wm_proxy.sprx file was not found in /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res. Can you check if the file is there?

Do you have issues with all your games? Are they iso? Are they located internally? Externally?
Have you refreshed the games list (refresh xml feature) after updating wMM?

Could someone else using wMM 1.47.04+ please check the mounting urls in their wm_launchpad.xml & report?

I won't be back home until tomorrow night so I cannot fire up wMM to try to reproduce the issue...

@LuanTeles
There is still something wrong.
Modifying the file manually is not really a good option imo. It's prone to errors & only temporary until the next automatic or manual refresh.

Sorry but I asked you a number of questions in my previous post but you have not answered them.
We would need those answers to try to figure out what's going on...
What about the xmb links?...
You have some tests & checks to do...

Also given the fact that v1.47.05 is already 2 months old, it's unlikely that the Launchpad links have not been working all that time without anyone reporting the issue...
I checked again in both 1.47.04 & 1.47.05 source code, the urls in the wm_launchpad.xml are built in the games_html.h file with these 2 lines of code that I copied & pasted here
Code:
flen = sprintf(tempstr, "http://%s/mount_ps3%s/%s", local_ip, param, enc_dir_name);
and
flen = sprintf(tempstr, "http://%s/mount_ps3%s%s/%s", local_ip, neth, param, enc_dir_name);
Like I said before, this code invariably produces http://127.0.0.1/mount_ps3...
Although the games_html.h file has been modified between versions 1.47.04 & 1.47.05, those 2 lines have not changed at all.
In theory I don't see how this can be a problem...

Sorry about not replaying

Q - What are the other issues you are having?
The games are not mounting although you get notified that mounting was successful?

A - Actually, after editing the wmlauchpad.xml all works perfect now
but using a default installation .05 My games will work
But lauchpad adress with // will give a error

.04 sometimes works some dont ( when lauchpad works, the my games folder becames empty)

;03 lauchpad mounts sucessfull but sometimes my games is empty

Q - And you say the webpage doesn't close?
There should be no web page opening with the xmb links as they should rely on the wm proxy to mount games... Are you using the html games list..? If yes, can you try with the XMB links directly?
Note that if your xmb links open a web page, it means that the wm_proxy.sprx file was not found in /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res. Can you check if the file is there?

A- Now it closes automatically after mounting the game in lauchpad
yeap all the files is there even when issues occoured

Q - Do you have issues with all your games? Are they iso? Are they located internally? Externally?
Have you refreshed the games list (refresh xml feature) after updating wMM?

A - All my games are in folder format, some storage internally and other externally
Yeap tried to refresh a couple of times to see the effects. and after upgrading and downgrading the WM

....

But now its 100% OK since i edited the lines in xml... but if i refresh the list all the // comes back
