I've now successfully injected a wii u save to the nds by injecting one block (8,192 bytes) back into the nds save itself.

gets very annoying seeing thread after thread where you reply to your own post rather then adding an edit.no reason to see replies in succession with no one else post in between on same day.

here's an interesting thing I found out, thanks to Cyan, but if you ever buy a new controller, like a pro controller, for the wii u and use neek, the system will unregister the controller whenever you use neek or select a neek game (from game settings). if it's a wiimote, you can just resync it, but you can't with a pro controller, because it can't be synced while playing a wii game. what you need to do is change the location of your emunand in custom path in usb loader gx to the neek nand, then inject the current syscon into it (in features iirc). it will use the current syscon where controller pairings are set, and fix the problem. I thought I'd have to redo the nand, because I bought a new pro controller a while back, but the neek nand is old. I just thought you guys could use that info for future reference.

edit: remember to change back to normal emunand afterwards and just have the neek games that require neek use it. I only have two games that use it, and it's instantaneous.

anyone have any ideas why this is erroring? it's always the same file(s) no matter the dump. I've heard wfs extract is buggy as hell, but damn. I only extract maybe 800MBs of 29.1GBs:

I was just thinking that it's possible it's gotten most data or almost all of it. the rest of the image may be blank, because I have nothing on it, aside from the cbhc game. I know that the usb requires otp and seeprom, but there are better alternatives there like dumpsterU and dumpling. I don't know if wfs extract will have the same problems with that. you can get the drive with powershell, because you don't want to initialize it or the drive will no longer work with the wii u.

I finally got my brain age meta.xml without uninstalling cbhc again:

I unpacked it with wii u usb helper. I used to have the one from yoshi's island ds, then my rednand one, but I wanted the original for records purposes.
