So I don't have to use Android WiFi hotspot for this?
In my network adapter don't have anything to change ip settings
I tried installing signed pkg with han enabled
Iam getting this error
8071053d
Iam using old version of pkg linker
My windows firewall is turned off
I recommend using PKG Linker 2.0, and not tethering your phone, that only complicates the setup.First USB thethred with my phone to pc
Then changed ip settings of pc and ps3 according to this with ethernet cable

You need both devices setup on the same network, then just install PKG linker 2.0, start the server, then install the package_list.pkg that it creates and install that on our ps3 via USB. Then reboot the ps3 and it should simply work.Hi,
thanks for your altruism
I'm only interested in using the pkglinker to start HAN-offline, with only Wi-Fi connection, without wires, how should I do this in my ps3?

Yeah to do what I said above you don't need internet. You just need HAN Toolbox 0.5, and PKG Linker 2.0. Then you can enable HAN offline from the toolbox option that says "offline".The reason for my question is that sometimes I am in areas where I do not have Internet, so, how to make my laptop without an Internet connection but with Wi-Fi provides an in-brand network so I can connect my ps3 to that network and start HAN offline.

You can do the same with any webserver on your LAN but the 2 apps above set it up for you.
Well I have no idea how your router mode works exactly, you will have to figure that out for yourself. If I put the router mode on my laptop can I connect that wireless network to my ps3? I understand almost perfectly the operation of pkglinker2.0, and i try to start han offline with the network cable without internet and it is very easy, but I want to do the same but in a WIFI way without cables. In other words, you tell me that I have to have both devices connected to the same network, so if I activate the router mode of my laptop to provide a wireless network, I can connect my ps3 to that network and do the aforementioned pkg process linker to activate han offline, right?
Lots of people connect directly with just one cable going from PS3 to PC. it works fine. You don't need internet for PKG Linker 2.0, so no need for your phone.i give up guess its not possible to connect without router and internet conneciton
with cable only i dont see any network adapters if i tether my android phone to pc only one adapter shows up
It's because of the pkg tool used by the resigner. You can turn off the antivirus or try opening the installer in a zip tool and extract it like that. The installer is just a fancy zip file.So windows is telling me the installer is a virus and refuses to install it. Any help?
HELLO PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!
-I got so mad from trying to fix this that i kicked my door so hard it has a big hole in it, will send photo proof in case devs want it.
-Here is my problem, i get the PS3 Game in PS3 Folder format use tools to transform it into PKG then i get all the 3 files needed which are signed, then i use PGN Linker 2.0 and in it i place my ps3 IP and try to see if it is right it gives me green, after that i place the PC IP and Set Up Server from which i get the blue cube in the bottom going crazy green just jumping happily, after that i connect ps3 to my laptop via ethernet cable to which ps3 is connected and on it i can enable HAN with Han Tools, after that i place the list generated by the PGN Linker 2.0 and transport that list to ps3 via USB formated to FAT32, after that i turn on PS3, download the list on ps3, reboot ps3, after that i access list to download game with it's files, i can see all icons, i start download, it gives me error the DEVILS ERROR WHICH IS 80710092 I think!! I WAS SO MAD MANNN I PUNCHED AND KICKED THAT DOOR SO HARD MY WHOLE NEIGHBOURHOOD HEARD IT!!
-I tried it again another 3 times
Info:
-I have read all 23 pages nothing came somewhat close to fixing this
-Do not need to install msvcr100.dll i have that and it is working fine
-Do not need to install new Microsoft 2010 C++ or something app
-Used to use VPN now i have disabled it
-I Have Firewall Off
-I Have Antivirus Off
-Wi-fi Transporting was not working so tried Ethernet
So now i have some questions:
0. What should i do devs, please help ;(
1.Why does PS3 IP change everytime i connect with the ethernet
2.Also do i need to place "act.dat" and the "idps.hex" files in the bin file which is in the other bin file on the extracted PGN Linker 2.0 Folder with the PKG Files
3.How should i choose the PS3 Ip now, from System Info or from the Network Settings
4.Why can i see all the PKG Files but cannot install them
5.During my Struggles from 9 am to 6 pm i had a VPN installed on PC now i have disabled it, does that do much of a difference since i have got everything correct and green from other options for Ips
6.Also does Sony have a problem with nets since i got kicked out of internet after some time which made me give up since only wifi was working
0. I think maybe you should try splitting your pkgs instead, PKG Linker requires an understanding of local networks/IPs/webservers, its not for everyone tbh.
1. You are meant to set manual IPs on both devices if using a direct connection, then it can not change. See the help tab in the app for examples.
2. only if you want to use the built in resigner, it will not affect the connection.
3. The IP will be the same in both places, it can not be different.
4. because you installed the package_list.pkg, you still need it set up correctly for them to work.
5. Yes you should disable VPNs and wifi adaptors etc until you have it working, all of those will just make the setup more difficult.
6. "does sony have a problem with nets" I have no idea what this means.
I think you should look into splitting your pkgs.
