HAN from PS3Xploit v3.0 is evolving and showing some of the possibilities as developer's and the PS3Xploit team continue the progression of this hack for PS3 3/4k models (non-cfw compatible). Recently we seen the PS3Xploit team release the Coldboot Installer (aka boot logo) . The team/devs are not stopping with only that release but a start of many tools that can transfer your XMB. Now the team has just released a new XMB Wave Installer, now we can use custom XMB waves on those ps3 models. The coldboot Installer and now the XMB Wave installer is not all.. esc0rtd3w one of the members of Team Ps3Xploit has already announced RCO Replacer / Image Font Replacer and also the "What's New @PSX-Place" XMB mod will be coming to follow in the near future as well.​

  How To Use:
  

  • 4.82 OFW: Download XMB Wave Installer ZIP archive
  • 4.84/4.85 HFW: Download XMB Wave Installer ZIP archive
  • Extract the files
  • Place lines.qrc on USB flash drive or select one of the internal HDD options**
  • 4.82 OFW: Navigate to this link or use local files above and a webserver
  • 4.84/4.85 HFW: Navigate to this link or use local files above and a webserver
  • Run the exploit from page and allow console to reboot fully
  • Done! Enjoy your new XMB Wave

2). Safe to Login on PSN after PS3Xploit v3 HAN?

If PS3Xploit HAN is not safe with PSN. I'll be staying OFW. But I have a PS3 Phat CFW well.

2. Seems to be safe for me since you are still on ofw and not cfw with han.Also the fact that you cant run homebrew yet (or ever it depends) means this might very well be ban proof.

I think so. I don't believe you need to run han enabler iirc.

 

nope! HAN Enabler only needed for changing keyset

 

here's one of my waves:

it's vertical and looks like it changes color especially if you cycle through the months and times. it's also using rebug logo particles.

 

You can not do a similar program with multiman, more emulating on a ps2 or something like that.

Nah only the p3t that changes only the icons, the full mod cannot be installed atm

 

the wave installer on the website is trying to copy lines_qrc when it should be copying lines.qrc, I haven't tryed the download version because it fails initialization

 

If you want change waves:

1. Download PS3 EXTRA XMB mods collection disc
2. Extract iso (winrar)
3. Choose one, for example D204
4. With PS3Tools click on PKG content ID
5.Extract DATA000.PKG
6.\PS3 EXTRA XMB mods collection disc\PS3_EXTRA\D204\DATA000\PS3EXTISO\USRDIR\TMP
7.copy lines.qrc to pendrive
8.install it
9. Enjoy
