The Rebug Team needs yet more feedback from you regarding the inclusion & status of Cobra

In future Rebug CFW releases, how would you prefer the default Cobra status to be?

Aside from the webMAN/webMAN-MOD question, the team would also like your opinion about the future default status of Cobra.
We are lucky that the team values the opinion of its CFW users so let us give them a hand to make the best decisions for all concerned!

Cobra included & disabled

Incase having it enabled on install soft-bricks (i had this happen before to a ps3) the console and you have to downgrade back to the previous version

I forget what Rebug FW it was but it would get stuck on the PS3 Waves on boot.. if you want to enable it on install i would do some revisions to be sure this doesnt happen again
 
If bricking due to Cobra was such a problem, installing any non Rebug Cobra CFW release would be risky as they all have Cobra enabled by default...
Just because a problem happened with one specific Rebug version for whatever reason cannot be sufficient reason to choose to have Cobra disabled by default imo.
As to making sure there is a no problem before releasing, you should know that Joonie is a testing beast, generally very few bugs manage to get past him....lol

Im just saying im on the side of as a few risks as possible :/ because n00bs seem to mess everything up somehow

I was aware of that issue that hanging on boot, and I fixed the issue long ago,

I had the same issue on DECR too and that same fix applied for DEX also worked fine for DECR.

@Puffdragon tested it on his DECR.


I just need to make sure if this is completely fixed. I haven't seen any feedback ever since 4.70.1

I voted for Cobra to be included AND enabled by default.
While I can understand the rationale behind having Cobra defaulting to disabled, I don't think it's necessary at all.
It goes without saying that the CFW must be tested thoroughly to ensure that freezes on boot due to Cobra does not happen in any particular situation...
And getting rid of Cobra altogether in Rebug isn't an option as far as I am concerned.

I chose cobra and disabled only because of all the guff joonie and the team got with it enabled. I would prefer it enabled myself but turning it on isn't an issue for me. If it keeps a few of the cry baby "purist" silent then I am all for it but why a "purist" wants a hybrid CFW is beyond me. Honestly I'm surprised they don't just whine about only having a DEX & CEX without any Rex build. I love Rebug for all its features. It can be as vanilla as any CFW but can also be the most advanced as well. It's perfect as it is and the more features the better IMO and this statement says it all.

I like it how others think about it so far.
Most rebug users enable cobra just after installation I believe.
