I just had a look on 4.81 lv2 to port MGZ to 4.81 and it look like 4.81 fw look like 4.75 fw. Can you confirm ?

(They rollbacked the firmware to make it even more stable... so the 4.80 probably have some stability issues :p)

Yes, the lv2 of 4.75, 4.76, 4.78 and 4.81 are almost identical.
Only the time stamp and few bytes are different.

@aldostools

I noticed a glitch with the covers on Rebug 4.80.1 & webMAN-MOD 1.45.02.

My settings for covers in setup.ps3 are:
Code:
Disable multiMAN covers: Unchecked
Combo box choice: MM COVERS
The covers of games on external ntfs drives are fine except for PS2 games - standard disc icon. I think the PS2 covers were ok with 1.45.01, I would need to test again to confirm.
PS3 Games with [auto] in their titles don't get covers either, standard disc icon both in XMB list & browser list.

But more importantly, and the problem is the same when using Refresh XML on its own or with prepNTFS, the covers of PS3 Games in /dev_hdd0/PS3ISO are not displayed (standard disc icon in the game list in the browser & ICON0.PNG used in XMB game list).
The JB games in /dev_hdd0/GAMES are totally fine though.
PS2 covers of games in /dev_hdd0/PS2ISO aren't displayed either. Instead a darker blue disc icon is used.

FYI
I have 85 PS3 games most of them on ntfs + a handful of PS2 games. That's it.
The games on /dev_hdd0 are for testing really & they are duplicates of the original ones stored on ntfs it should not make a difference, it didn't before.

Hi aldostools,

Since the release of webMAN MOD 1.45.0 to 1.45.2. My unit keep on detects 233 games list even after refresh using prepNTFS. On the release 1.43.36 my unit detects 499 games list. Any solution?

In webman settings page, change plugin memory usage to some higher option like MAX, etc.

Go to the setup page, find the home profile combo box, on the right you have a few links. Use the wmtmp link to delete the contents of the /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp folder. You can also do it manually with a file manager or from a pc/smartphone via ftp.
Change in the setup page, the plugin memory usage, adapted to your type of games. Make sure it uses more than 768kb...
With over 200 games, you may need the max+ option but if you use psx games, there are special settings. Just test away with high memory values. You can see how much memory is currently used, the value is written at the left of memory usage combo box in brackets like the [768k], use this as a reference to know what is really going on with the chosen setting.
Save after each change & reboot.
Once done, run prepNTFS.

Also as a general rule if you don't use ps3netsrv at all, make sure your local ps3netsrv on the console is disabled & uncheck scanning the network for games.

Don't forget to reboot after making changes or using Refresh XML.

If none of this helps, send us a screenshot of your settings. Cover any info like psid/idps that you do not want to share though.

Btw in the new 1.45.02, there is no setup or ps3mapi links at the top of the page unless you are in admin mode if ever you wondered why... You can still type the url ../setup.ps3 though...
Use the combo L2+R2+Triangle to enable admin mode & refresh the page. The links will appear.
When you are done with the changes, the same combo is applied to disable the admin mode for security reasons.

Thank you, it works. I just increased the plugin memory usage to the max. After that reboot system and use prepNTFS. Thank you so much again. :)

Good. Am glad it worked.
I added a couple of bits of useful info on my previous post if you are interested...

@aldostools
it seems i have some problems with your latest release.

i am doing some tests on 4.81 and using your latest wmM full edition and somehow the browser icons are not all visible. the save button is very small and no title and also the buttons on top.

do i have to configure the browser differently or have i missed sth else? the last time i tried wmM it has worked fine

Currently there are 2 "latest" releases... the one on github (1.45.02) and the test build on aldostools.org (1.45.03). Which one did you use?

Could you try installing a different build (later or previous) to verify if it is an issue with that build?

I haven't experienced the issue that you are reporting.

Also which browser are you using? PC or PS3? If PS3, which mode (silk or webkit)?

BTW if you accessed a XMB list containing hundreds of icons the memory might be consumed.
This can happen listing some categories of XMBM+ or XMBPD (e.g. wallpapers).

You don't need to do all that..
You can use the uninstall web command.
/delete.ps3?uninstall

After uninstalling, reinstall using the very latest updater pkg (with latest prepNTFS 1.16) from http://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases/tag/1.45.02, don't forget to press L1 during installation if you want to get the Full Edition...

Always keep the web commands in mind! They can do just anything from a browser on the local network...

or in the OP of the general info thread.

Awesome tonight I am going to upgrade too :) I am still on 4.80 and webMAN 1.45.00.

i have tried the one from your github and of course i am talking about the ps3 browser.
i have tried different settings, silk, webkit and different engines but no luck. the browser always had cut off the buttons and labels. i even deleted the config file and other files.

and no, my xmb has not 1000's of items listed, so this is definetly no memory problem. as i said an earlier build i have tried some time ago worked fine for me.

i will try to rebuild database and see if this helps and also try your test build.

another thing, the settings were somehow messed and it has activated some kind of autoscripting. i had no autostart activated but somehow when i tried to launch a psx or ps2 game the cursor automatically went to memory card setting and then it has started the iso automatically. this was kind of creepy to me. or is this some usual function?

Hello.
It's a duplicate of http://www.psx-place.com/threads/4-81-ermak86-cobra-7-3-greek-language-cfw.11575/#post-63718
I have installed webMAN MOD 1.45.02 and prepNTFS v1.16. Should I configure webMAN to use prepNTFS to connect external NTFS disk? I just ran prepNTFS, console rebooted but webMAN doesn't see my drive.

Thanks.

Why are you posting the same thing again & again? Once is enough.
We answer every post but sometimes we need more time. Please be patient in the future, have a little faith in us... [emoji6]

Yes you must use prepNTFS with webMAN-MOD. All the information is already in the webMAN-MOD General Information thread OP.
You must install the latest version of prepNTFS, launch it then the iso games found in the PS3ISO folder (it does not support JB folder games) will be listed in webMAN-MOD games list. You may restart the ps3 after using prepNTFS.
Note that you need to use prepNTFS just once. You only need to launch it again if ever you add or remove some games from the external ntfs hdd otherwise there is no need.

What prepNTFS does is scan the contents of the ntfs hdd then create some shortcuts to the iso games it finds on the hdd in the /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp folder. wMM then uses the shortcuts to build the games list & to mount the games. Those shortcuts are only erased when you launch prepNTFS again.
If your isos are not in the webMAN-MOD games list, there is a problem.

In this case, use Irisman 4.81 to test the ntfs hdd, launch the backup manager & open the file manager,
if your ntfs drive is listed, the problem comes from prepNTFS.
If not, the external drive is probably either too big or has multiple partitions or it uses GPT instead of MBR, GPT is not supported. Check your disk with a partitioning tool or Windows disk management to find out which problem it is.

You could also use movian instead of Irisman to test your ntfs disk. Movian works on any CFW & gives you full access to the ntfs drive (you must enable it in the settings though). Movian even offers a configurable ftp server which is very reliable & gives you access to ntfs drives too.
