PS3 webMAN MOD 1.47.31 - Various Improvements & Fixes in new update dedicated to bitsbubba

A very popular PS3 homebrew plugin has been updated by the talented developer behind the plugin we know as @aldostools, as he releases a new version of webMAN MOD for your jailbroken PS3 (this plugin CFW & PS3HEN compatible). The developer has dedicated this update in honor of our great friend @bitsbubba who we recently learned had lost his life due to battle lost to cancer..

In this update of the plugin Aldostools has alot of improvements, as the plugin itself has several issues that have been fixed as seen in the changelog included below, plus this update contains various changes to the suite of tools that accompanies the plugin with 73 commits being pushed to those tools

webMAN MOD is a very powerful plugin and provides a great deal of functionality to your jailbroken console (see 2nd tab), you can learn about the plugin here in the webMAN MOD forum and also at the guthub page here where additional details and the code can be found.

Does this fix the Artemis incompatibilities?!? If not, it's no biggie. I just uninstalled 1.47.30 moments ago to fix an issue where I couldn't save in Tales Of Xillia 2 with Artemis codes enabled, but since that's fixed, I'm reinstalling with this new update anyway. I love MultiMan and ManaGunz, but I gotta have my WebMan back ... :D

After I upgraded from v30 to v31 - now FlashFXP (All versions) won't upload programs that contain files/folders within a folder for some reason. It'll upload single files but it won't upload files or folders within folders.

Says [R] 550 File unavailable when I try to upload apps/games that are with files/folders within a folder and yes, the files are available that I'm trying to transfer. Also another thing I found strange was that I tried to revert back to v30 and now that version is broken as well where it has the same problem with FlashFXP. And just for your info I did uninstall it through the web browser by typing in 127.0.0.1/delete.ps3?uninstall where then the PS3 would restart so you could install another version.

I have basically reverted back to v28 where it seems to be working again and all files/folders within a folder are transferring without issues again. I just wish I knew what went wrong and what IS still causing this. As maybe it's a file or folder that seems to be messed somewhere within my PS3 that is conflicting with those versions except with v28.

I even tried installing v30 by uninstalling and overwriting v28 with v30 to see if it would fix the issue on at least v30 but I can tell you it was not a success. If you could look into this or maybe know what file is causing this issue please met me know. Thanks. :)

NOTE: I tried using Filezilla and it works with all versions surprisingly but really, I REALLY prefer FlashFXP. It's such a better proggy and I hope I could get it to work again in working order with v31 or at least with v30 again.

MY PS3 (Slim) 2001A w/ REGUB 4.86.1

Actually neverminded. I saw that there was an update yesterday (Showing 18 changed files with 17 additions and 12 deletions.) on the same version, v31. I uninstalled v28 and installed this new version, v31 that was updated yesterday. Everything is back to normal. Thanks so much for this app. :)

Hopefully after reading this, this will also clear out any problems for anyone else that might run into the same issues that I had.

FlashFXP for life! lol :)

Try downloading the installer again, install it and report back.
Yesterday I submitted an update related to this issue.

Hi.
How do I enable screen recorder feature ( my PS3 is a CECH 2004 A + CFW 4.85 )?
Where I can find those saved files ?
Can I change internal resolution when playing PS2 games ?

Regards

Multiman uses a usb.cfg file because the PFS driver deank leveraged to read (not write) ntfs partitions requires the data it contains ie the device ID to identify the device on which a ntfs partition is located.
In some cases, multiman is somehow unable to obtain this info from a usb connected device, in which case it defaults to using the usb.cfg, if it exists.

WMM, sMan, prepISO use a full NTFS driver, they do not need any externally provided device ID to (un)mount/read/write a ntfs partitions. They can scan the connected usb devices & mount any ntfs partition they find.

Hi. Great work.
How do I enable screen recorder feature ( my PS3 is a CECH 2004 A + CFW 4.85 )?
Where I can find those saved files ?
Can I change internal resolution when playing PS2 games ?

1. The screen video recorder is not available if you have the lite edition installed of webMAN MOD (don't confuse it with Rebug Lite edition).
2. To record video use SELECT+R3 (or SELECT+R3+L2+R2 to launch the standalone video recorder plugin and unload webMAN MOD)
3. The video is stored in the folder /dev_hdd0/VIDEO (the file is a mp4)
4. The video recorder is not available for PS2 games.

NOTE: The video recorder is a feature with a high memory consumption. Thus the standalone video recorder plugin is recommended. However some games may crash or freeze when the video recorder is used.

Just a quick report: this version of WebMan does allow you to save while Artemis cheats are enabled ... but your game probably won't have sound ... :P Mine didn't! LOL

Speaking of which, I should've NEVER used that Max Gald cheat in Tales of Xillia 2 ...

After every screen transition, after picking up any loose Gald, after every random battle = SUCK IT UP, LOOGZ!! WE HAVE YOUR WALLET SURROUNDED ... Ugh! LOL

I´ll check and give you my feedback.

Aaaand it turns out that not having sound in Tales of Xillia 2 is a random bug and doesn't have anything to do with Artemis. Fired up the PS3, mounted the JB Folder with the latest Webman, and when the game loaded, no sound. There's supposed to be a chime after the Bandai-Namco logo when it checks for DLC and that didn't happen. Quit the game, used PS3HEN Tools to do a full reboot, and re-followed the steps above, and sound worked.

Thanks.

Hi.
I've the last webMan MOD installed 1.47.31( i guess it's the full edition ), but nothing happened
when I've tried to record ( by pressing those keys ). Should I've any advice in the screen, like an icon to understand what i'm doing? After trying this step, I've checked the video folder and it was empty.
May be i've done something wrong.
About PS2 games, is there something available on webMAN MOD to change their internal resolution, when playing on PS3 ( i mean any tool, configuration, filter that improves PS2 games resolution, even on non BC compatible machines ).
These games are running without glitches on PS3, but resolution is awful if we take a look about we can get on windows, with PCSX2. However, on PS3 the gameplay is smoother.

Regards
