Hey, thanks a lot you two
@kozarovv
Well actually I don't care that much if I have to use mM or wMM, I would be happy with any working solution. It's just that mM stopped working for me, but since wMM is getting bigger and better...
Thanks for compiling it for me!
@aldostools
This looks nice, I'm very new to webMAN MOD and never really used any browser commands, until now I've only used it as a faster way to launch my PS1/PS2/PS3 backups via the wM-xmb shortcuts heh.
Here is what I tried, unsuccessfully :
- Copied kozarovv's webftp_server.sprx to flash0\vsh\module, restarted console
- In webMAN, picked "webMAN Setup" -> "PS3 webMAN [Games]"
- Browser opened, loaded a PS3 SingStar
- On the next page, the PS2 Singstars in the game folder are displayed. I loaded one of them too
- Exited browser, lauched Singstar PS3 via XMB disc icon
- In-game I opened the special screen where you can change discs, inserted a random PS2 game (Bully/Burnout) but no PS2 songs were loaded. It displayed the generic checking disc/loading disc dialogue but that probably doesn't mean anything.
Start the game through the Bluray disc icon. To swap the disc a PS2 disc, mount one of the [PS2] discs listed on the browser.
The PS3 disc will be unmounted and the selected [PS2] disc will be mounted as /dev_ps2disc.
That's what I tried, although my order was different: First mount the PS3 game then the PS2 one, and then launch the game via bluray icon. Do you mean I should open the browser
after launching the game? But how?
After mounting both games I can see/dev_ps2disc directory the multiMAN file browser, trying to open it will close the browser window.
The latest Singstar game updates are installed.
Gamepaths (examples):
\usb000&usb001\GAMES\SingStar Vol. 2 [BCES00233]\[PS2 SS Legends (Europe)]*ps2 game files
\hdd0\GAMES\SingStarTest\[PS2] Rocks\*ps2 game files (simplified paths)
Sorry for the long posts lol, I'm always over-complicating everything... Need some sleep now, thanks for your help everyone. I hope we can figure this out, I only have a few days to try out stuff though until I leave my console in the hands of my family again on Saturday.
