So to use the install combo pkg feature... do you need to install the FULL version of this update?
I installed the lite version. so if I do need the full version, can I reinstall it right over the lite thats already installed?

thanks

Yes you need the full version, and Yes you can just install over the Lite version. You probably know but some people dont, after pressing X on webMAN Updater just hold L1 until you are back on the XMB to be sure.

Ok so after press Select+R2+O it starts installing the packages on its own BUT what order does it install them in? Eack package has its own name and size however I put a number in front of each one... there were 4 pkg files and I numbered them 1 through 4 ... so for example

1.xxxxgame.pkg
2.xxxxgame.pkg

and so on..

but it picked #3 first then 4 then 1 and then 2. #3 was 303mb #3 was 460mb, 1 and 2 were just the fixes so they were very small. I mean it worked...but GTA V has about 21 update files and they need to go in order. so how do i get that to work so that in some kind of order that i need it to go in?

thanks

from what I remember, the system itself installs updates based on time created rather than name or modified.

huh...well thats interesting. thanks @pinky. I will experiment see how that works out.

Update: as usual you are correct sir! it will install them in order you put them into the packages folder! Soooo you just have to copy one by one in the order you want them installed. Copying all and pasting them results in random order, even if you highlight them in order thats not usually how they get pasted.

thanks again!

Check your webman settings:
Scan for LAN games/videos

I'm guessing you will find a checked box and 127.0.0.1.
That means your ps3 is it's own ps3netsrv, so it will list the games in HDD and netsrv (same).

Duplicated games in wMM can happen in some situations. ...
Generally, all you need to do is to refresh XML (if you use NTFS, just launch the latest prepNTFS 1.15 instead) & reboot.
Have you already tried this?

I dont updated the XML list,
I only have restarted the PS3 a few times, but the games still are duplicated.
I installed the webMAN MOD v 1:43:28 and everything returned to normal.
I use the FAT32

Ok. But have you tried refreshing xml to solve the problem?

And btw I don't recommend the use of such an old wMM release. Bugs have been fixed & many new features have been installed since then.

The box not checked,
I do not use ps3netsrv :)

You did not say whether you use NTFS.
Anyway, try deleting the contents of /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp. You can use the link in the wMM setup page (beside the profile settings) to do it.
Then use Refresh Game List (=Refresh XML) or prepNTFS to rebuild the list & reboot.

If that still does not work, try disabling the Scan Content scan on startup option in wMM setup before trying the above.

I said that use only FAT32 :D :-p
So I must first use the cache option And Then upgrade the XML list? I'll try again, thanks for the help.Cached there are jpg and png files, I have to delete one by one? I have to delete the entire contents of the folder?

Could you upload somewhere your XML to check it?
It's located at /dev_hdd0/xmlhost/game_plugin/mygames.xml

Also a screenshot of your /setup.ps3 would be nice.

No. Delete the cache yes.
No you don't have to delete one by one, I already told you there is a link in wMM setup page beside the profile settings.
Then refresh XML.

If it does not work, try disabling startup content scan before reboot.

And if you get nowhere after all this, you could try deleting the configuration (wmconfig) as well for testing.
