PS3 What can I do if my PS3 is on OFW 4.83

Cant you just nor flash a 3000 or superslim back to 4.82 with a hardmod if you want han back? I know its a costly option compared to just buying a cfw console,but of course a option is still a option.

If I remember correctly the chip is a bit different on these models, it's the opposite way round and a few of the pins are different so you crnt get a decent dump of it with a hardware flasher that is use on the earlier models, you can also permanently brick you console if you try to do it this way.

Reinstall Rebug from Recovery Menu

I noticed it only comes up with games that are modded it have a mod menu just a normal game it doesn't display the message to update system. I'm in to something

I had a console on 4.75 DEX till some time ago. But with the latest plataforms updates from $ony dex under 4.82 couldn't log anymore into PSN without a spoof. It gave you errors at the begining (when they started to change/update things (maybe certs) on their plataform) when you tried to create a new user psn account and later lower dex version couldn't log into PSN, period. Only (rebug) DEX 4.82.x still has access without spoofing, like said already, it's normal, because DEX cames later than CEX, so you can still access the plataform. On DEX, users have to spoof their original IDPS region (85, 87, ... or if using other IDPS the region that IDPS has) with e.g. Webman or they couldn't access PSN (DEX/Debug is 82).
@Xx_Tawwqeerr_xX that screen to update with 3.20 or later is normal when errors (corruption for ex.) do happen on DEX or when you try to install a new HDD or same one (was formatted) but if you are on version 4.81 DEX you know that's the version you need to install or later, if not sometimes you might end up in a instalation loop (easily fixed by formating the hdd).
For what i've read, you used the ps3xploit website to install CFW, swapp to DEX then and for some game you started to get that error. I would delete it's game data (game, updates, dlc), reinstall it again (if it was only for a game) because you might have some corruption on it's files. The rest is normal. To log into PSN you do need a spoof version (SEN ENABLER) or go with 4.82.2 D-REX and update to latest webman and install the new rebug toolbox (if you do have a spoof, you need to uninstall it first if only you decide to update the fw).
Think this will sort you out, by the information you shared.

So recently I bought a ps3 slim cech *2501 A* so I can jailbreak it so i can add JUST Multiman so i can play games off the hard drive. When I got the console it was on 4.82 *perfect* and I connected the ps3 to my ethernet and I went to a website on the ps3 to dump something to a usb *as it is apparently a step to jailbreaking* and when I did so I got a thing saying 4.83 isn't supported.. I was like WHATT i was just on 4.82.. So I have been looking for AGESSS on how to downgrade the version and I have to use a flasher... and ugh I don't wanna do THAT much. So all in all my question is... is there any way I can use multiman on this version? or an easy alternative so I can put games on a usb and move them to the hard drive?

Don't quite understand what you mean. Is it Black Ops 2 your trying to play online? All them pic's are the same. There are 2 ways to reinstall the firmware. In the 'Settings' column via 'System Update' on the XMB and in 'Recovery' (Safe Mode).

Do you have the Firmware install file for REBUG? (If not you can download it from rebug.me)

Yes once you click on the game in MultiMAN it should quit back to the XMB and the the game should appear in the games column as is you just put the disc in. That is when you would use either SEN Enabler or PSN Patch to disable the syscalls and sign in before launching the game (if you planning to play online) Black Ops 2 is the only game I really play online but it gets boring because no-one can beat me lol (And I don't use mods, modding online in public matches is for losers lol)

If the game doesn't appaear first time try going into the 'Custom Firmware Settings' folder in the 'Network column' and select 'Soft Reboot' to reboot your PS3 and try again to load the game through multiMAN. sometimes you can select the game and it won't appear, a small glitch that rebooting your PS3 should sort out. Do you have COBRA Mode enabled as this can cause the same problem as well.

Have you got everything setup correctly before you go online? IDPS Spoof, PSN Patch or SEN Enabler stuff like that?

- ISO backup (most cod games needed to be on ISO, since i don't play them on PS3, i dunno if anything changed);
- Log into PSN on XMB because if in game multiplayer menu it will freeze or loop and won't work.

When i played online, i went with the minimum, meaning, OFW mode, with all the rest off so to minimize the ban risk (even that i know the ban risk will be there always).

Should I delete the HDD it only doesn't say update on games that are just CD not HDD

I'm confused should I delete the HDD because it only loads games in disc I mean but because their is a HDD one it is displaying update

If your firmware is on 4.82 ofw you shouldnt be getting that massage.You should double check your system version and use miniver to make sure its jailbreakable since its a 2500 which sometimes ships with 3.56 or lower but sometimes it doesnt.

COD games don't need to be ISO format. Non of my PS3 games are ISO format, only my PS2 ones. All my games are in folder format and I have all the Call of Duty games for PS3 and can play online with all of them without any problems.

He (@Xx_Tawwqeerr_xX ) is very vague and all over the map and does not answer our questions, hard to help as the issue keeps changing a bit.. I am not understand his objective i guess.

Its because the game is not patched to 4.20. so when you disable the syscalls and launch the game you get a black screen.
Do you have PSN Patch installed?

What i would do: Restart your PS3, then go into PSN Patch (don't hold any buttons as you would to disable syscals and stuff just let it launch)
Once in PSN Patch press 'L2' to patch games to '4.20', then on the next menu press 'LEFT' on the d-pad and a * should appear next to 'Backups in Internal HDD' then press 'Triangle' and a * should appear next to 'Deep Search'. the press 'START' to apply the patches and the PS3 will reboot. Then try again to load the game. if it still doesn't work then we will have to do the double patch methord.

I'll get there, and i get the jist of what hes saying. he is on CFW or he wouldn't be able to use MultiMAN. He posted pics before of multimans Top media bar UI for games.
