I can't remember if I mentioned this, but I just got to the fourth dungeon in link's awakening. a friend accidentally divulged the location of Marin when I'm trying to use no faqs for any game (that's the reason axiom verge is so difficult for me).

my friend told me she was on the beach near the first town. I knew from some clues that she was heading from the animal village to mabe village based on what people said in the animal village. however, I wasn't sure if she was human, but I knew where to look. I would've found her eventually especially after I had link's awakening's intro running while I was typing a message somewhere. it shows a girl standing on the beach. that was a good clue, but I'm not sure if I would've solved it immediately. I was going to be thorough though. I got stuck in bloodstained (going underwater) for about three weeks last. I didn't really get stuck that much in dragon quest 1.

I never used anything to beat axiom.
I beat super metroid back then and there was no internet except for magazines which i never cared.
Beat the game on my own.
    I miss those days.
Another hard game was zelda link to the past.
    Those were the days.

Its always great when you find one of those games that are extremely immersive.
    I love those.
But then you try and play other games and , well , they're meh.

Anyways wish you all a good sunday.
I'm looking forward for my ps3 tommorow, clean it up , check its performance, repaste it and looking forward to go thru bioshock trilogy.

it took me a bit to figure out how to kill those armored shell enemies in the fourth dungeon.

having to use your shield to flip them over. I thought I needed the bow and arrow, so I left the dungeon to buy it, but at 980 rupees, I couldn't afford it. it was only after fighting some moblins with spears and one with a shield that I thought of using link's shield. I let those enemies fall into the water in the first room, then in the adjacent room, there was no deep water, so I had to come up with something else.

the game has gotten some flak for being short. I don't know how many dungeons there are, but I know there's at least 8 considering a friend told me he was on the eighth dungeon. getting stuck has prolonged the length. I've gotten stuck a few times, but nothing too long. I got stuck for a long while in final fantasy vii, then again in bloodstained. I can't even quite remember where I'm at in bloodstained. it took me a few attempts to get the inversion skill working. now, I can go to almost everywhere in the castle, so I think I'm looking for the right way.

@Filipe Santos , if you like those types of games (axiom verge, zelda, etc), you might try out neutopia. it's for the pc engine (as it's known in Japan, maybe Europe too - not sure). a lot of people compare it to a link to the past by saying it's a clone, but in reality, neutopia was released in Japan first by like a matter of months. I've beaten part 1 as I have a turbo grafx (as it's known in America) with cd attachment. I own the actual hu-card. interesting thing about the pc engine/turbo grafx is that I believe only the hu cards are region locked, not the cd games. I saw a video of someone removing the region locking of the system. pretty impressive.

3000 Series you can live with it, the worst is when a seller claims they're PS3 its backwards compatible 60Gb,and you end up with a Non-Backwards Compatible with a 60Gb HDD, that's the real pain.

    Hi mate.
Yeah I guess I can live with it because it's a more recent model.
    It's a 3003b.
Guess it's one of those that nobody can delid. But I'm not interested in deliding it anyways.
I'm just about installing HFW then I'll Hen this bastard.
It's really something that ebay sellers shouldn't do , stating it's one model and send you another.
So just watch out , don't buy anything if there's no photos proving it's the actual model.
Mine said in description it was a 2103b as you recommended me and I bought it out of good faith.
    But another lesson learned.
I just cleaned the outside , will open it soon and clean it inside and check the thermal paste.
Console was full of those stupid silver warranty stickers , maybe this console was sent to be repaired before?
Also the controller I got was a non dual shock one , I was wondering why it was so bloody light compared to my other 2 DS3 ones.
I noticed the controller's also been opened as the thread of the screws are worn down.
So who knows how many times it's been opened.
Console is also missing all it's bloody feet.

Right now I'm playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x (widescreen patched on my RGH xbox 360). It brings back memories from when I first got it on the Dreamcast 17 yers ago. Tbh, dreamcast output some really decent picture for cheap, so this version is not that much better.

Get a refund lad, not worth keeping if you're used to CFW.

Buy one from CEX or some second hand shop.

I've been waiting pratically nearly 2 weeks to get this that's why I'm not gonna bother.
Just enabled hen , installed webman , just installed multiman.
    I'll get used to this.
Apart from that hope that ebay seller will enjoy his/her negative feedback on her list.

yeah, if it were me, I'd get a refund. I waited over two months for an ez flash omega. I never received it though, so I got a refund. I wouldn't let 2 weeks of waiting stop you.

I had (and still have) a demo with this game for Ps1. I spent more hours on it than many complete games :D
I was always at the outside park level (there was only another one, but was internal, I liked it less). The music is still stuck in my head:

I saw a speedrun of one of the tony hawk games. it was a world record. I think the guy beat the game in like four minutes or so.

probably part of what you paid for that system was due to it supposedly being cfw-compatible. I just bought a logitech controller for the ps2 a week or two ago. the receiver doesn't work. however, I have several other controllers whose receivers work. something is causing interference (I think), but why only new receivers? I'm not sure how long this controller has been boxed (unopened), but the two double A batteries seemed to have corrosion on them, so it's probably been boxed for years. the guy offered to send me his own personal receiver if I shipped the one that didn't work back, which I did. it was a flat rate at the post office: $8. I thought it was going to be like $3, since the receiver is small enough to fit in an envelope. anyway, I also had a white controller (new) by logitech. that receiver didn't work either, which is why I bought this one. I didn't want to return the second controller, because it works very well, with my receivers. I think it was the principle of the thing when it comes to that $8. I want what I bought.
