PS3HEN multiMAN 4.82.00-HEN + ManaGunZ v1.35-J + IRISMAN v4.84.5: PS3HEN (Shutdown) Fix for NTFS HDD

Developer @Joonie discovered an issue with backup manager's and PS3HEN user's mounting games from an NTFS external drive and having the symptom of a sudden console shutdown upon mounting a game., The issue was located and has now been fixed in the 3 popular backup manager's choices. As developer Joonie has provided updates for multiMAN + ManaGunZ + IRISMAN to be compatible with the latest PS3HEN and eliminate this bug plaguing some user's.   I've received multiple reports about mounting games on NTFS partion causes shutdown. so I checked and found out sprx_iso was signed as debug self [FSELF]
  
  So here's the fix for PS3HEN, tested on 2.1.2 but should also work on 2.1.1 and below.​

  And just like ManaGunz 1.35, multiMAN also has the same problem with PS3HEN, mounting ISO from NTFS partition causes PS3 shutdown due to fself signed module not being supported by PS3HEN.

  I just had to resign net_view.bin embedded in DATA1 (RELOAD.SELF) to make it work.

I tried to change it to cobra and its the same result as before... the hell am i doing it wrong? is it the folder that doesnt want to show it or the iso or the ps3? I just want to play my old back up games

Same for me on managunz and iris

on multiman after the first message of the "image is not compliant ps3 iso"
if you enter again and try again, the iso will show up normally on the xmb

Im using ISO files, all my Iso files mount ok with webman mod and multiman, but they dont mount or at least dont appear on the XMB with Managunz or IrisMan

It has to be the ps3ISO folder that makes it complicated even cobra mode wont work for the iso

 

You take out the disc inside the Blu-ray drive and restart the PS3. Then you can use Mana GunZ. This is a bug in Mana GunZ. mm iris wenman has no such bug.

 

Did the audio work if u put cue file did u test it i mean There is psx contain audio track did it work when using cue file

Yea it did. In fact I installed the Spider-Man game itself and it worked fine.

I do find that ALL psx games have some level of audio glitches on the PS3, but otherwise work well.

I do have a bluray game inside the disc tray, Ill try it without the disc on it.

I've used a NTFS drive with 1 partition only, with the game.iso in PS3ISO folder. In ManaGunZ, i've used Payload = Cobra and BD-Emulation = BD-Mirror. The icon shows up in xmb and starts the game with no problems.

I've created the iso with a folder-format game using PS3 ISO Tools. I've attached the config that i have used.

 

STILL CANT RIP DVDS....
....on my super slim..
..tested and can only view the "dev_bdvd" and its files on multiman ,
..Only when i have disc in the ps3 before i boot it...
BUT then in Multiman ..i can see files but Cant copy to Hdd or Usb or FTP(cant see filres on FileZilla)
..i cant copy over FTP ...
....is there some sort of block on Dvds...

I also tried instaling Dvd enable ..
Enabled it and still cant copy files

.also tried changing Dvd regines on Diffrent Dvds..
.
..mutimans Movien player doent play dvds..
.
.i also instaled a stand alone Movien pkg..still nothing

..im still trying to make it work...
My CFW rebug 4.81 Dex , doesnt Have a Bdvd Drive..

Soo im relying on my SuperSlim to rip Dvds...some are not offiacl dvd but Bured Discs..
....
Im Guessing this fix has something to do with Hen....
..hopefully on next HEN Update...

Not all the DVDs can be ripped due to its protection, you will likely need a PC and a licensed software for ripping DVD.

....i dont thibk soo...beause i used to rip em all day long on myps3 slim Cfw rebug 4.81 dex...no problem...
And i notice i cant on Hen...

..it took me to Movian Showtime player ..then i got error saying
"Not owner"

Unfortunately I don't think this is going to work because I found out only unprotected DVDs can be ripped on both CFW and HEN. I tested it on my PHAT w/ 4.84 REX also faced the same issue with ripping. I was able to rip the unprotected fine but the protected ones were getting read errors.

At least ripping PSX and PS2 are now fixed though.

The picture below is showing unprotected DVD is being ripped fine on HEN
