PS3HEN multiMAN 4.82.00-HEN + ManaGunZ v1.35-J + IRISMAN v4.84.5: PS3HEN (Shutdown) Fix for NTFS HDD

Developer @Joonie discovered an issue with backup manager's and PS3HEN user's mounting games from an NTFS external drive and having the symptom of a sudden console shutdown upon mounting a game., The issue was located and has now been fixed in the 3 popular backup manager's choices. As developer Joonie has provided updates for multiMAN + ManaGunZ + IRISMAN to be compatible with the latest PS3HEN and eliminate this bug plaguing some user's. Checkout what the developer had to say about this issue below and seems we may have a new PS3HEN update (2.1.2) around the corner as well:​

  I've received multiple reports about mounting games on NTFS partion causes shutdown. so I checked and found out sprx_iso was signed as debug self [FSELF]
  
  So here's the fix for PS3HEN, tested on 2.1.2 but should also work on 2.1.1 and below.​

  And just like ManaGunz 1.35, multiMAN also has the same problem with PS3HEN, mounting ISO from NTFS partition causes PS3 shutdown due to fself signed module not being supported by PS3HEN.

  I just had to resign net_view.bin embedded in DATA1 (RELOAD.SELF) to make it work.

Managunz and Irisman works ok but you have to have the bluray tray empty

I only changed the name nothing else, it shows 4.82 then you're good.

 

Unfortunately I don't think this is going to work because I found out only unprotected DVDs can be ripped on both CFW and HEN. I tested it on my PHAT w/ 4.84 REX also faced the same issue with ripping. I was able to rip the unprotected fine but the protected ones were getting read errors.

At least ripping PSX and PS2 are now fixed though.

The resolution on PS3 has to match both video and stream output in OBS. I get lags if they don't match like 1080p vs 720p

i put 1080p in ps3 and and OBS or 720p in ps3 and OBS so is there anything else causing that lag when i see the ps3 video in obs o Game Capture HD software it is slower compared to on TV but after the video file is saved by OBS when i play the video the speed is normal like on TV so how do i fix the video to play ps3 and see it on pc ?

I just make sure that both OBS and PS3 have the same resolution at all times

if these were set for 720p then you gotta use 720p on PS3 as well otherwise lags on preview

The dvds i Try 2 rip are bured dvd ..
They are pirated here in mexico..

..umm im guessing the ps3 super slim has some sort of protection on dvd discs , ps2 discs, blueray...
......Becasuse i tried to rip a ps2 original disc and have the same problem..
I also tried to rip a bpuetay movie and i cant...

...if anyone has a slim ps3hen non cfw to test it....

....Im on a Ps3 Super slim...

As I said earlier, PS2 disc issue is currently resolved but it's not published yet.

DVD Protection is currently impossible to defeat on PS3, neither AACS on BD.

I get the same DVD issues on CFW and I'm using PHAT PS3 (the launch edition). and I can rip burned DVD just fine on both Superslim and PHAT.

I haven't tested that on 2.1.1 it could've been caused by the same reason why PS2 disc wasn't ripped. I'll test it later on 2.1.1

I don't know what the issue is for you, if your DVD is burned and its protection is removed then it should rip just fine. I tested this on 2.1.1 apparently it rips fine here.

Insert that DVD to PC and use IMGBURN make sure that your DVD has no protection.

Do u think it has to do anything with hen set up...

The dvd are can play ,but only on Xmb..

I can see files on Hen tools/advanced tools/file explorer/optical disc....

But cant play a dvd on Movian (standalone or MM's Movian)

...my modle ps3.SuperSlim is cech4001b
