PS VITA / PS TV Resident Evil CODE:Vita (beta 0.2) by Markus85

Developer @Markus95 has stopped by our site today to drop off a little gift for the Vita community. We all know Markus for his various Paintown mods for the PS3 some of more recent ones included Dragon Ball Paintown & .Resident Evil Operations . Well here is a Vita Game created with Lua Player Plus (vita) called Resident Evil CODE Vita (Beta 0.2), this is a shooter that is alot of fun (if you like shooters). If have played Super Hero Chronicles (if not you should) for HENkaku, then you might be familiar with some of the gameplay as that engine was used in creation of this completely new game that has spawned.

Here is a small homebrew unpretentious coded .lua and based on the source code of Super Hero Chronicles which I have appointed Resident Evil CODE: Vita.

It is a mini-shooter, you have to survive many waves of enemies.
I have taken over and modified the source code Super Hero Chronicles to create my own homebrew but especially to learn programming .lua, sprites come from a former homebrew Resident Evil Operation Paintown.

Here are the results of my first modifications, as said above I 'learn along the .lua therefore this homebrew is not yet complete (one level) and some glitches are still visible. This should be corrected in the next release.

If a person with a good knowledge of .lua can contact me on LS m to assist on some still obscure points for me ^^, that would be cool ... I have built this homebrew a shortcut to LS (orange logo) to contact me if need directly from the PS Vita.

Thank thesuicidalrobot for source code Super Hero Chronicles and Rinnegatamante for IPP-Vita.

I just noticed his original release notes also had said it is why I asked, figured they knew something I didn't

Maybe a bad translation due to language barrier? I know English is not his native language. But I look forward to seeing some polish on this since it's just a beta and glitches are expected. There are slight graphical errors the hit detection seems to be pretty good we're shooting but in terms of collision detection the zombies disappear very frequently but this does shows a lot of promise and is pretty fun I see it being one of the better Homebrew games I really love the Lua interpreter.
